The estimates of expert or researcher sometime makes our hearts sad.
Almost all object can not be separated from their estimation. One estimate of the experts is that the Polar Bear. It is estimated that by 2030, polar bear will become extinct if the ice of the north pole or south pole melting and the earth temperature is increasing every year and we can not reduce the widening of ozone layer. Actually, anything that happens on earth is inseparable from human intervention and one of our biggest mistake if all that is going to extinct and we are unable to share with our children and grandchildren. How do you to know that our Polar bear will be extinct in the near future?

This may be true but its not only the Polar Bear who will be extinct by the time 2030 maybe also human raise and other species of animals will also be extinct hope it doesn't happen. It is all because of human works that these precious animals are decreasing in numbers, hope the next generation will still see these animals before they go extinct and still appreciate the beauty of our world.
Working together to save our mother earth even just doing small things could really help us to save these animals from extinction. =)

Human will really have to suffer after all animal gone. Human being is the last species go with extinction after all of them disappeared.

Maybe we will be the last to survive the extinction but as soon as possible we must lessen the things we do in our daily lives that really destroy our environment and maybe we can some more species of animals and extend their time before they become extinct.

Oh this is sad.
our children really can not see the polar bear.
They are very beautiful and I like them a lot.
Dan, these studies prove to be incorrect.
nice day!
I hope to have polar bears ever.

Hello sijabatnaburjut,
I knew it that polar bear is an endangered species but i did not know that these are going to be extint so early from our earth.
Not only polar bears there are lot of creatures which are on the verge of extintion due to HUMAN beings. Its only we who have made problems for these innocent animals. This is more due to the pollution due to which ozone layer is depleting and resulting in increase of temperature on earth.Really we people are selfish we just care for ourself and always try to do things which comfort us and don't see if it discomfort others.

Yeah, polar bear nearly extinct and there is not anything we can to prevent them from being extincted. We should start looking for new ways instead of reducing the building of green house. Thank you

Well, everything into the future is a prediction. Maybe the wild will not be so wild in 2030. I think the problem for the polar bear is the ice. He is seasonal and moves from one area to another. There is a current problem now with human development taking place and northern regions being affected with changing climates. The water is opening sooner and longer and some are actually drowning as they try to swim too far.
These guys do not mix well socially either, I am trying to think of a reason, oh yes, they eat you. We do not want to see animals go extinct so intervention could well be a good idea not only for the polar bear but for the human species too maybe?

Yes, Polar bear have to swim too far, because the ice is melting. Ice is their land and if the land does not exist anymore, they have to migrate to find new land. They might hope they would find new land but new land will never exist anymore. Every where in the world, the ice is open and no one change the land to polar bear. It's all human mistake that let the polar have to across the ocean, because their land is gone without our warn.

But I haven't seen a polar bear in my life either.. nor any other bear for that matter. My very first encounter with a (drawing of a) bear is when I was reading Goldilocks.
On a serious note, while Polar bear extinction is saddening, melting of the permafrosts is more alarming. Carbon and methane are said to be leaking from the frozen soils, which in turn trap heat in Earth's atmosphere, thereby accelerating the whole phenomenon. It's even possible to happen before 2030, depending on the amount of greenhouse gas releases. Even if we humans survive (flooding and) drowning, we can barely live with the expected hot temperature.
Keep your hopes up though, maybe by 2030 polar bears don't become extinct. They might have evolved to a different bear species, one that can swim long distances.

I hope they wouldn't extinct. We have to work hand in hand in keeping our earth save from destruction and extinction as well as I am hoped. Thank you.
