In the upcoming friendly at Wembley, England would take on Spain this weekend. What do you think would be the result? Do you think England under Fabio Capello have it in them to challenge the Spanish Armada at home?
Or do you think the Spanish have just too much class for England to compete?
Cheers!

Friendly games are different from official ones. I guess both trainers will want to test new players, and they will also make plenty of substitutions during the game. Therefore it is very difficult to predict a final outcome, but I feel that there will be lots of goals scored.
But because you asked a prediction, I will say a 2-2 draw, which would mean a pretty good games, I believe.

I think even without these players, the likes of Fabregas, Busquets, Torres etc. are good enough to give enough quality to the Spain attack. Let's hope England take the challenge and play an attacking game instead of just playing it out for a draw. Else it would not be a great spectacle.
Cheers!

And Spain will have to play with new players also. If I am not wrong Iniesta, Villa and Xavi have played yesterday in the Cup game against L'hospitalet, so it would be risky to play them less then 48 hours again, in a friendly game.
However, the other players have a huge quality also and I think there will be lots of goals and a true spectacle on the field.

Wow..
really big match and dont ever miss it.
England Vs Spain.
England have a good competition and the national have a good team also.
they have many good player that playing in their league.
i thinktheir skill absolutely good.
But for spain, also have a good competition that build their player in good term.
they have a good speed, technique, and their pass really incredible, almost none of their pass that missed.
England should be prepare for this.
altough it will be held in Wembley, i think Spain is still difficult enemy for England,
Spain have a good development now in their football.
i think Spain will be the winner of this match.

It would a a brave soul to predict a English win. Spain is just too strong at this moment and in mind only the Dutch are able to match. While England have a lot of talents, but the are work in progress. If Spain play to their strenght I do not see how England can beat them. But this being a friendly, I think there will be some experimenting. Score should be tight, but England might win with an odd goal.

Well the south american team are pretty strong, but at the current moment I do not see the form to match Spain, even the mighty Brazil. Brazil is no longer the team of old, but they still excite us, however my personal opinion is that Spain is the team of the moment. Too be honest, I still think only the Dutch and Spain match up would be fair at the moment, but then again, the German team can never be written off.

I still believe Spain is better than England now...
i still expect that Fabio capello is one of the best coach..but he had to use all his mind and brain to use some ineffective player in England national team..
Now maybe he did not play Rooney..He try to make new strategy without Rooney and of course he must seek "New Rooney" for his team and it`s not easy for him..
England must use this friendly for testing their level and increase their level...I don`t underestimate England but Spain is better than England for me..
But play with underestimating our opponent is "deadly disease" for football player and a team...
Maybe the score 2-0 or 3-1 for Spain...

Well, it is going to be classic match.La Furia Roja still the best team in the world, they still maintain. Best performance even in the Euro qualification by maintain winning record. They still have young squad but experience with mainly playing in big club like Barca and Madrid. It will be interesting match since Spain will bring full squad to wembley. England still looking for the right composition under Capello, Terry will join but seems Lampard will be selected as captain in this match. Daniel sturridge of Chelsea will also join three lions for the first time, hopefully he will make best debut and shows his great ability..
I think Spain will beat England but not much goal difference, wembley is no longer guarantee for England, they have lost many times there.

On the one side, Spain is well settled. On the other side, England is just re-building. It would be interesting to see how much progress they have made since the world cup against a top opposition. Last time they played a top opposition, Germany made them look like old men in the park!!
Cheers!

Spanish Armada! I love it. I now am envisioning Elizabeth1 and Philip sparing! I think if England can have both the D and the O work well , they can beat Anyone. Will it happen? I don't know.
