looking for a tablet

I was just reading a story on tablets that are giving the ipad a run for it's money. The two they talked about being the best competitors were the kindle fire and the nook tablet from barnes and noble. They both run around $200-$250. They have wifi access. They gave the Nook the upper hand because it's a little lighter than the Fire, has double the storage and also has an sd slot to add more storage. Though I think the Fire has more available apps and books than the Nook because you can get them from amazon.

I would suggest the Apple Ipad because the features are very good and many of their applications are educational and your kids would really love to have it. Although lots of their application are for sale. I would also suggest the Galaxy Tab 10.1, I know its the latest tab for samsung the only difference is you can download free apps around the web that you can put on the tablet. These two tablet is the best on the market and who ever gets anyone of these gadgets will be very happy and will love the Tablet. Hope this help
