Some user of injectable Glutathione claim that they got whiter skin, after weeks of using the said beauty product, should it be considered as a beauty product or is it most likely a medicine that needs be prepared by professionals before injecting it to a prior patient. I been doing research for this product cause I planned to use it, but before that I want to know the side-effects of this product. Please let me know if there would be possible bad effects on our health, after using it, though the benefits would be a whiter and smooth skin, how about its harmful effect?

From the profile photo you posted here, I don't think you need to use Glutathione. Your not so dark as you think. I don't think it is attractive for men to be white too. I personally find dark or fair complexioned guys more attractive than guys with white flawless skin. If I will use Glutathione, I would only try maybe the soap but not those injectable ones. Aside from it being costly, you have to be injected several times so as not to go back to your original skin color again. My friends cousin have been injecting themselves with it and she said their skin color became really white and flawless, but have to buy the same kit every now and then, I'm not sure whether it last for 3 months only and then youe will need some injection again. And as everyone else has said Glutathione actually serves as an anti-oxidant in our body. And the whitening effects is just an excess result from it.

I appreciated your compliment, well in that case I think Glutathione is an expensive way to whiten my skin, i better use soap instead of injecting it directly, but is the result from Injectables and Soap are the same?

everything you said is right, joanna vexxus, if you don't want to have the side effects of gluta injections you will have to resort to using a soap. But as what joanna said, you need to have a lot of patience on this. If you decide to use a gluta or any effective whitening soap, you have to apply whitening lotion too. Why don't you try what I have tried before? I've made a discussion about it i guess a week ago, they said calamansi can whiten the skin. For me, its effect is getting a smooth and silky skin. Maybe you can try that, this will take patience too but it's really worth the try.

Hi joanna, if you have time you can check this link about the calamnsi discussion I made http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2593055.aspx Some who responded says it can whiten the skin. Although I used it to make my skin smooth as my mom advised me to do. Nope it won't be itchy, what I do is to clean my skin with oil first of course with the use of baby oil to remove dirt on my skin. And then I rub calamansi all over my body, just don't apply near any open wounds or scratch. Once it's dry you can take bath

I've read that the whitening effect is just secondary to the real benefit of glutathione. But since people are into whitening because of the notion that "white is beautiful", glutathione is being marketed as a beauty product specifically whitening. If you wish to use the injectable Glutathione, it is recommended that you seek the opinion of a dermatologist. There are other ways to get a whiter skin without sacrificing your liver.

sacrificing a Liver which is one of our vital organ in exchange of whiter skin is a big No for me, I'd rather find some alternatives to achieve such skin than to face a future health problems

I read an article about injectable glutathione in one of the local newspaper here in our country and I found it interesting. Accourding to that article, glutathione would only be effective as whitening once your lever has already had enough of it and overflow would be the part whcich is causing whitening of the skin. It wasn't mentioned there about any of the side effect but considering that you need more than enough than your liver to get the whitening effect is itself alarming already. Also with regard to side-effect, as a matter of fact whitening is the side-effect of glutathione and it's main function is as anti-oxidant to remove free redicals in our body. i hope this help you a little. My advicwe to you is that if you really want to try taking this product, do it in a respected derm clinic.

I wish could have read that article too, so the whitening was really the side-effect of Glutathione, I think that is the best side effect i have ever known. I'd better seek the advice of a professional dermatologist instead of experimenting on my own.
