Do you think Indian Team is missing Harbhajan Singh as a Spinner....

Harbhajan Singh was not selected in this test squad. But that has not really affected the performance of the team. He has been the top spinner for Indian team for years, specially when the matches are played in India. But now he had left out of the squad and chance to young bowlers, P.Ojha and R.Ashwin. Both these spinners utilized the chance given to them. It is difficult to get wickets for a spinner in the first innings of a test match, but Ojha did it well and pick valuable six wicket. In the second innings the Debutant complemented Ojha's performance with another six wicket haul. All together these two spinners picked the 16 wickets out of 20. I dont think India is missing Harbhajan as a spinner in the team. But surely as a bowler who can bat, India is missing him. If he was in the first innings, he might have scored some valuable runs towards the end of innings. So do India really miss Harbhajan in the team??

Whatever the spinners have shown and proved, i dontb think that Harjaban would be able to come back easily. Have a nice time.

In the last tour to england, harbhajan was there initially and was not a big success where the english spinner performed better than Bhajji. So sometimes experienced players may also go through the bad patches. Now he is out of form, hope that he will regain his form soon.

Missing Harbhajan??? Did you see the first West Indian Innings? 9 wickets by spinners and in the second inning 7 wickets but spinners, all without Harbhajan Singh. So he is not being missed as a wicket taker but he will definitely back in Australia

I think we were never going to miss him against opposition like the Windies. So no we are not going to miss him in this series. But against bigger opposition like the Aussies his experience could be quite important. It was good to see the way Ojha and Ashwin bowled, but I think Bhajji would be back for the Aussie series!! Cheers! Ram

Ya we need our spinners to perform well specially against the big teams. So what do you say about his performance against england? He is now out of form, he should play some domestic cricket and get back his lost form. Otherwise selecting him straightly in the series against aurssies wont be good.

In the recent past Harbhajan has not been in his best form. but as you said his batting is an added advantage for the team. and his experience also matters. And Bhaji would have also performed in the same manner if he was in the team, simply because this was not a big opposition who play the spin well. surely Ashwin and Ojha bowled well, so spinners competition to get into the 11 is becoming tight. now Harbhajan should fought hard to get into the team.

Tip west indies team is not a team which low to handle the spin smartely. So that may be a reason why we dont feel the absence of Bhajji. We have to watch out how these spinners perform overseas
