Beginning with Cupcake, all the code names of Android OS for smartphones have mouth-watering food names, assigned in alphabetical order, like Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb and Ice cream Sandwich. What exactly is the purpose of equating the path-breaking operating systems with delicious food items?

Maybe to be different from those who make operating system for cellphone and tablet pc's. And also having these delicious food as a nickname for the these famous android OS will make ordinary person / laymen to easily remember what OS their gadgets have whenever another person ask him about that thing. And also it really makes you interested in this things because of the names and also as means to attract more people to have this kind of Operating System. Android OS is really a good one and you can really find to many sites to download application for them .=)

As you have rightly said, Android OS is really good with some killer applications downloadable from the net. It is the strategy for naming different versions of the OS that sounds special.

Its true that Android OS is a very good in terms of these applications. And also This might be the best Cellphone and Tablet Pc OS in few more years of specialization. =)
