What is your idea of success?

I've always thought success was based on how much you have in your pocket or bank account and I'm glad I was proven wrong. I've been helping a lot of people in the Networking business I've invested in. I've earned more than what I initially invested and I was still not happy. That was until I attended a workshop funded by Momentum Kinetics and I learned that it made me happier to see other people succeed. The money is just a welcome incentive for me. After that workshop I dove back into work more focused on helping my downlines succeed... and you know what? My profits doubled :D and so did my happiness!

For me, success equals to contentment. You can have a lot of money, but you won't feel successful until you're contented with the amount that you have. I've been thinking about going into the Networking business. A family friend invited me to an orientation yesterday and it's really overwhelming. I don't know if you really can make money off it if you can't have many members in your downline. If you don't mind, can I ask to which Networking business do you belong to?

I joined Momentum Kinetics. a new company, started June 2011. Yep barely a year old. I joined in August, the 25th to be exact and quit my job on September 9th. So far, no regrets. Happy and a fat wallet hahaha

Hi! Chipesterkhan you found the real way of sucess because sucess doesn't depend upon the money in your pocket or in the bank account but it depends upon your passion and dedication to your work. To get sucess you have to be passionate about your work

I used to think success was being in the upper echelons in management, and making more then enough money to support yourself and your family. I couldn't have been more wrong. It wasn't until a year or two ago that I learned that lesson (I'm 32, so plenty of wrong years). I discovered that while I made a good boss, I enjoyed being in the entry position even more. It is a lot less stress, you can actually be friends with your co-workers instead of having to be their boss and not being able to mingle with them. I got fired from Walgreens after I got injured. They waited for about a year afterwards, but they tried many times and in many different ways to get me to quit. I had a family to support so I played their games. TN is an At-Will state so they could fire me for any reason. Its a long story, but I was completely mistreated. When I got fired, I had to look for another job quickly. We went through our savings, and had to come up with alternate sources of income, but we survived until I found the job I am at now. It was a HUGE pay cut, and at first I didn't think we'd make it, but we managed. I realized that success is about a few things. Happiness, having a career, not just a job, and helping those less fortunate then you. At least that is now what I feel is success. I have also found that even though we have less money, I am happier at my job which makes me less grumpy which has helped my marriage, and it is like a snowball effect. I am still trying to find ways to better my life. I am working full time at a job I love with people I really like (most of them anyway), and I'm trying to get a part time job at the humane society which will help us pay off some debt and start saving again, and I'm in college taking 2 intense courses every 9 weeks. I believe my hard work will pay off. If I don't like the part time job, I can always leave it and still have a job. I doubt that will happen though as I want to help the cats and dogs. I also want to be able to help keep the local humane societies website up to date. They have pictures of some of the animals, but not all. I believe that having pictures for all of them would help find them homes quicker.

I agree that we feel better when we help others. It is such a great feeling to be able to help others. I really believe that there is more happiness in giving than receiving. I feel that doing work that we enjoy and that we are able to help others is a great way to work and earn money to support ourselves. And like you mentioned sometimes we are even able to benefit when we help others. It's a win win situation. I'm hapy when i help others and spend time with my family.

Success to ke is simple: To live a life in moderation, being contented with it, and also, MOST IMPORTANTLY, no debts whatsoever!!

'me', not 'ke'. Man, I hate miss-spellings. -____-"

I believe success is all about happiness...I think everything we do is all to do with making ourselves happy, money can help in a way but if we are happy then we have acheived it all.

I think success is different for different people. Success is setting a goal and reaching it. It is doing something well. It is wanting something and getting it. It is basically what makes you happiest and makes you feel successful. That is the main goal after all. Being happy.

Success for me is being with my family all the time, basically we need to earn money because we need to comply to our daily needs, but as if money alone can make us successful, no matter how eager you are in making money we always wanted to support each family member so in the long run, family bonding still the primary goal. reaching this goal every day is always a successful day.

My idea of success is when you've succeeded in all aspects in life. You have a great family, you love your job, and you have your loved ones with you. I think the best description of success is having the feeling of contentment and happiness in everything.
