A girl spit, would it turn you off?

I hate seeing people spit on the street, that's why I really want this country to have an anti-spitting law like Singapore, and a heavy fine for violating it. However, I do sometimes find myself in a situation wherein I really have to spit. Sometimes I get cough and colds with phlegm and sometimes the gooey stuff just comes up my throat. Once, because I really did not want to spit on the street, I swallowed the phlegm, which was nasty. Another time I decided I should spit it out so I found a trash can and spat in it. And then one time I was on a public vehicle and badly needed to spit so I spit out the window. It felt nasty.

This is a pet hate of mine, I hate to even see males doing it, I watch our football here and the players are spitting all the time, it is a disgusting habit and then you see little kids walking down the street doing it because their sports legends do it, they think it is cool, Spitting is a big turn off no matter who does it...

People never used to do this years ago and it seems to be becoming a common habit. And it's quite a disgusting one too, it's actually illegal where I live to spit on the street in public yet all the youngsters do it. I was shocked yesterday when I walked into town with my stepson. All he did all the way was spit every couple of seconds sometimes in front of people. I told him off for doing it and he claimed that it's not his fault, he needs to clear his throat (he has been ill). I explained to him that I have never spat on the floor in public in over thirty years of existing on the planet and asked him why he feels the need to do so. He said why not, everyone else does it. However, I do find it inappropriate and yes it would definitely turn me off a girl.

hi, for me, maybe i could turn off to her,sometimes its disgusting when i saw people who spitting in public places,there's a lot of way to spit in the right places or use tissue to spit.its also showing of bad manner too.

I think I would be turned off if the spit is in a forceful manner compared to spitting that has a finesse. Male or female, we should refrain from spitting in public places for doing so is an indication of good self discipline and being concern of the well being of others :)

As a girl,i won't behave like that unless i really get sth stuck in my throat. maybe that girl had some personal reasons behind that you've yet to know. Since spitting on the ground is really a bad manner,every well-behaved people won't accept this.and if i were a boy ,i won't go for a spitting girl???

hi kingparker I dislike seeing anyone male or female spitting on the ground in public where others may walk. Its unsanitary and disgusting to watch. Akin to men blowing their noses with their fingers and throwing that on the ground,. Yuck.Yuck.

Sorry, I'm a girl, but I'd like to answer this. I don't like people who spit anywhere. I don't care if it's a girl or a boy, or if that person is attractive or not. It's such an ugly thing to see. Besides, think of all the bacteria that spit is going to spread around. Gross.

Well, I do not see much of a problem with it. You know, she might have been spitting something out of her mouth that bothered her, not necessarily spitting just for the sake of spitting.

kingparker I don't like to see anyone spit..it's so unsanitary. To the guys..it's not cool for you to spit either...

hello king. well, i am girl but i think this issue is for everyone. spitting is unhygienic when you are in public it invites bacteria to be transmitted to other person. i think your friend was turned off because a girl must be refined but not only us even also men should try to be refine by not spitting specially on public area. we must carry with us tissue and waste receptacles so that we may lessen contaminating sickness.

I hate anyone who spits in public, whether its a girl or guy. I am in a country full of people who loves to spit and it's plain disgusting. It's okay to spit but not in public. But I think there is also a time that even if you do not want to spit, you have to , for various reasons. Maybe she ate something bad and she had to spit it and she had no tissues with her. Or maybe she had a cold or something.

It turns me off whether the person is a guy or a girl. For girls though, it has more negative effect since girls are ideally clean and neat physically and behaviorally. As much as possible, people shouldn't spit in public. I think it's bad manners especially if this person spits on the spot near you. And never spit in a moving vehicle! Who knows where that droplet of germs and other disgusting microorganisms would go!

Of cause I will trun people who spit everywhere off. Because those people are low-quality in my view at least reflected by this behavior. It is convenient for the girl to spit on the trash bag in the car or, if not, she can spit on the napkin then throw it to the garbage can when the car stops. All in all, there are a ton of ways that can do it better, but unfortunately, she dosen't.

I think it's a bad habit when girls spit on the ground or in any situations where people can see it. It's a bit disgusting but we can't blame them if they really have to do it. In my part I don't really see it really really bad..it only depends on people's reaction...lol ^_^
