I use Firefox as my browser....I just updated to the newest version...and now another update is ready. But since I went to 7.0 version....mylot has been SOOOOO SLOOOOW to go from one spot to the other. I click on an icon for a discussion and the status bar starts...and just sits there for the longest time before opening to that discussion. Even when I click on "submit"...takes forever it seems.
Anyone have any problems with FF slowing down MyLot activity? It is really getting annoying it is so slow...and only on MyLot.
Thanks for any suggestions!

I am using Firefox too, but still the old version 3.6 and it will take a few second more to load mylot as compared to other site, I believe this is due to mylot is a huge data base site where it will need to load a lot of data when you open a page, so that make it slow. Sometime, slow in loading a webpage is also due to your line speed, I think it should be all right if you are using a broadband or something.

I guess it has to be Mylot then.. I have Verizon FiOS which is supposed to but hotsey totsey fast and it just started since just a few days prior to MyLots maintenance thing they did a bit ago. This is what I hate about internet...no one can say why a problem so you don't know how to fix it cause there are to many cooks in the kitchen!!!! Thanks for your suggestion!

i use mozilla firefox as my internet browser for mylot too. but it doesn't goes too slow as it is to you. if in any case it did, it was because of my internet connection. as i thought mylot runs in firefox well. have you checked mylot in other browser? or maybe try opening mylot with other internet connection. i hope it gets fixed up soon. have a great day!

I am using EI version 9 and no problem with mylot!
It's possible this simply a server problems though I find firefix 7 a bit buggy for windows 7 as it have many memory violation some sort!

No it seems to be working fine on my Firefox but I would have to recommend Safari! It's really working well for me on my IPad and Safari is a nice clean browser to run your sites through! :)

how do I get Safari? I've had so many.. just tired of always having to change so often with all the upgrades! It's only been a month since I upgraded the FF to 7.0 version, and I see today, they are sending me notice that the new 8.0 is ready to be installed! I know things move fast in the techno world, but good grief, we don't even get the old version figured out before they upgrade and we have to start all over! And I went to FF in the first place because so many of the sites I worked with stopped using IE cause they were so tired of all the constant updates/upgrades. So that is why I changed to FF...now FF is getting as bad as IE! Oh well...what are ya supposed to do!

I find just about everything is slow for me in Firefox these days. It's really crazy. I just updated something in my computer, or should I say my computer just updated something in itsself, and things seem to be moving a little faster now. Let's see how long that lasts. LOL

I don't know if it is FF or just that Mylot is a little busy so a little slower then usual, because every so often the pages slow down. I alternate between FF and Chrome, rarely using IE but I notice that one is slow the others are too so I just assumed it was the site or the line. Is FF also slow with any other sites or just Mylot?

i think mylot is slow only on first connection of each requested pages, after your request is responded by the server, the rest of the page loading is almost normal (i think). Maybe it's because to many request to mylot server at the same time, i don't really know.
