I can only speak for Buddhism and in Buddhism one of the doctrines is the Anatta or No-Soul. For the Buddhist the concept of a soul represents a clinging or attachment that must be discarded if one is to obtain enlightenment.

Me too, I know I have a soul and ours are not all the same too. Some love being more mature and stronger the reliable and responsible one's in life. While others would like to simply be more care free and depend upon others for more serious things within there lives. My soul loves Spring and Summer's, walking in warm sunshine nature, and pets, photo's of nature and beauty, easy listening music,calming things in life and yoga for work outs, dressing up fany like a lady at times too. Eating healthier mostly, and keeping my living space neat and clean, I enjoy arts and crafts. I care for the worlds environment and like to recycle and like electric cars too. You see, we must all have different souls since I am very aware that there are many who do not all share these same likes and feels as I do here in life. Still more proof that we do all have the souls here however too though since the inner person is who makes all of these choices not the body alone the other person within us our soul person. I couldn't agree more with you here too, I also believe that the soul is not something we here on Earth can ever really own or even truly understand. This is a truly mystical thing to us still. We are more advances in our times really to know and understand this too, in our pasts we believed oddly enough that our souls could be controlled during life to do the right things after our deaths very scary times o live in I'm sure hope we never take a step back to that! Anyway, today we understand the soul is out side of who we are here on Earth and does get lost too perhaps we all have a soul and just see it in such different ways that this could be one reason for the lost or hauntings or even ghosts them selves at times. It is so very hard to say for sure though, but we now know that each soul is so very different in the end none is the same. So in this way I do agree with you here, some believe however that your soul if not going to heaven will remain and remember some of the things lost here today too. So there are two sides to this coin and the one you favor more is probably where your soul lies and where those of your loved ones as well. I agree with your view here very much too. There are two I have seen much older men out in the woods and doing things with younger men since they still believed inside that they could do these things. They must be really convinced that they no longer can this is the other person who must be convinced of this too. The same goes for woman of course too, they just know they can still cook clean, garden,and do all the shopping and bill paying, even look on the outside as when they where younger. This other person inside is who you must argue with I have noticed you don't always win either just let this person's soul be as it is naturally is best. Thanks,A.B.
