Our school announced that our class will start again on November 8, 2011. Though I know about this announcement, I still did not attend my classes on that date because I am so tired. I am having my vacation now because I still want to enjoy my life. I plan to return to school on November 14, 2011. All my classmates did also the same as mine. As a president of our class, I think, I badly influenced them. They are planning to return also on November 14, 2011.
My dear friends and fellow mylotters, what can you say about this?

If I get to be the president of the class I'll declare the same! (LOL) Which of course I won't possibly be because I'm no brainy and all, and for the record; I hate school! People always see me rascal rather than someone who participates a lot, although I can own and persuade them easily. *Wink. Anyway, it's not about influencing, it's about their choice!

Yes, I think it is not only my choice, it is our choice as a whole. I am a naughty boy also at school but I never forget to study my lessons.

You seem to enjoy the respect and trust of your classmates and because of this you made big impact on your leadership. Although it is not right , you are to be complemented because you exert a kind of hold on your classmates and school authority could benefits from it by recharging it towards more positive matter. .

Yes, I am very happy. I trusted them and they trusted me. I think, it is somewhat the fault of our school because they did not announce clearly when our class will start.

It surprised me that you can command your classmates in that way.
I wish I could do that to my classmates too. By the way, good luck
to your return!

Well, it is because I love my classmates very much. LOL. I think they love me so much also that is why they had trusted me a lot. I love helping my classmates at all times.

All I can say is that what you've done is not good. Probably because being a class president, you should be the role model of your class and not to influenced to do wrong things. :)

Whatever happened to the days when school rules meant something? If I'd missed a week of school, they'd have called my parents and demanded a reason!

oh my, if all your classmates will go back to school by next week, what will happen.
Your teacher will surely be mad the moment you showed up...(the whole class) hehehe.
You are declaring your own holiday huh...

Well, I don't think that it is a good idea to skip classes, although I will admit that I would skip class when I was in school for a whole variety of reasons. I would skip class so that we would go to the track or I would skip class simply because I wanted to catch up on sleep. One thing that I would not do was to skip class at the end of a vacation because I felt that it was necessary to be there to catch up on my lessons.

You have the right to do so... As you say, you need to rest and unwind... You can make it up to them later on... Just get going!

It's okay as long as your professors also didn't show up those days and having official classes. In my case I still went on my first day of classes which in fact started last November 03, 2011. I have to check whether my subjects are okay and they are not dissolved. I will also have to check if teachers are already there starting discussions. Some teachers showed up. Some don't.

Yes you were right. As the class president, you influended your classmates in a bad way. Declaring that you will return to class a week after the actual start of your semester and telling it to your classmates made them think that it is okay to do the same. Just imagine the amount of knowledge you could have gained in the 1-week time? YOu pay for your studies or shall I say, your parents pay for your studies. You were not onoly wasting the money they earned the hard way but you're also disregarding the trust they put upon you. PLease go to your class on monday and don't delay it further.
