Which is the best anti-virus?

I want to buy a new anti-virus. I currently has McAfee which has expired and want to buy a new anti-virus. I want to continue with McAfee but my friends suggest that i should go for Norton. I am not sure, but i have seen man websites using Norton. Any suggestions? I am using a Window 7 version and it is a 32 bit operating system.

Anti-viruses are very important to a computer. If you want McAfee and that you know it helps you and your computer, well then use it. But if you have detected that your computer is slowing down even with your anti virus on, better change it. One anti-virus software i recommend is the latest Norton and Avast antivirus. I have been using it and it is secured and easy to use,plus, it protects my system 100%. But you can use other anti virus softwares you find helpful. Do what you think is needed to do. It is up to you. :D
