Hi ardoy!
Sometimes I miss those games, too! I was playing those games even when I was already in high school. When I was in my first year, I remember I still played Chinese garter. I was so good at jumping so high above the garter or the rubber band tied together. ^^ I still played teks and 10-20 then but only with my nephew and niece. Sometimes I play hide-and-seek with them, too. Last night I missed playing hide-and-seek because the moon was bright and the sky was clear.
I miss sipabol more than syato. I have a bad memory about syato. It was my turn and when I let the little stick fly, it fell off the forehead of a baby. With sipabol, it's easier to catch the ball so the danger of the ball hitting someone is lesser. ^^ I don't miss the habulan games but sometimes it's fun to remember the songs. Saksak puso tulo ang dugo, patay, patay, alis ka riyan. lol

I like scrabble, and I still own a scrabble board until now. Nobody ever wants to play acrabble with me now, among all my friends. They all think I'm such a loser for liking scrabble.
As a kid I liked board games, and not the games of chance like Snakes and Ladders, but games of skill like scrabble, mastermind, and boggle. I go to this coffee shop where there are different board games on every table and the said coffee shop is near a school. When students go there I notice that many of them don't touch the board games and just busy themselves with their cell phones or PSP. Too bad.

I know they can be played in computers now, but I guess I still like the real thing. Instead of being in front of a computer, I'd like to be seated around a table with friends and playing such games while enjoying snacks and drinks, and a healthy conversation.

Oh I miss my childhood days so much! I wish I could be a kid again and have no worries and simply play games all day long. I use to play with my cousins all the time when I was younger. We would have this game called hide and seek and tag in which you had to hide but when you're found, you have to run for your life or else be tagged! It was fun hiding in very difficult places and just sit there hoping that the seeker will never find you. There were times when I was such a good hider, all the seekers got bored and left me there to hide for like half an hour. There was also this game called Marco Polo in which one person is blind folded and we are all in a dark room. The blindfolded person must then wander around the room and try to tag us. I still play it with my friends when we com over. Funny how we are all in our late teens.

Oh... you really reminded of my childhood. I remember how naughty I am when I' playing hide-and-seek, rubberband, and many more. It is so nice to be a kid, you don't have any problems all you are thinking is how to win the game. Unlike now, you to think how to win the game of life.
Indeed, I really miss my games back when I'm still a kid.

I feel sad when I realize that a lot of children just want to sit in front of a TV or computer instead of playing outside. When I was a child, it would take a lot of threats just to drag us children inside the house. The usual threats would be that there is a ghost outside that gets naughty children who refuse to listen to their parents when they are being asked to come inside. I love to play hide and seek and tumbang preso. The goal of tumbang preso is to try to knock down the can with your slippers. I just hope that children nowadays try to play the active games that I had played when I was a child. It was really good exercise.

I missed playing patintero. When I was a kid, I'm one of the best people to play that game. Now, i don't think I could because I can't run fast that much. Playing jackstone is also among those i miss. When my child gets a bit older, I'll teach her these games so she'll have a strong able physique.

childhood games were just the events of full of life, it used be the funest and funiest period of my life. Basically, the games under we play in childhood, are different in names but probably same in game and max has same rule. In India, we usually play games like gilli danda, kancha, latto, kabaddi, kaphchi, langdi etc.
Summoning the childhood and its games, like having a dream of things that we do the best in past....

One game I would love to play again would be Monopoly! I absolutely loved that game even though it was rather extensive! As a child, I would be so good at collecting properties and bargaining with other players so I'd love to play a nice big round again. My favorite part about Monopoly was making the big bucks and getting paid so often when I put hotels on groups! Ahhhhh, I miss the family fun, and being the banker, and all the excitement being rich in a board game meant! :)

I loved to play hide and seek. Growing up I was small enough to fit in weird space that no one would think of. I could fit in a cabinet here or there. It was great! Now days, I have two children and we will get out and play hide and seek! Brings back memories for me :D

What I do recall fondly is the game "tanching" wherein you have plastic toys on the pavement inside a box and you try to get the toys out of it by using another toy as your "mover". Before, we also collect bottle caps and gamble on them. Playing POG is a classic I will never forget :)

my friend, you forgot to include seven-up and color-color
we used to play these and all those games you mentioned. I just don't play chess and damath, I played checker board instead. Hide and seek is a favorite especially when its getting dark and it becomes harder to search our playmates. I ran so fast when I was a child so I used to get to the 'base'!
