Did you ever was the victim of Malware Infection on your Android device?????????

I did! :(. I downloaded and install n application online to my droid phone. After several days of not charging my phone It went totally empty of power . I charged it for about 3 hours and when I turned it on, it started freezing from time to time and will turn off every 30 minutes. I tried to remove the application I installed but I can't remove it so I tried to reset it to factory default but nothing helps. I ended up in a shop with my phone needed to be reformat. I hope you can fix your phone's issue.

I wish I am not. I rarely installed unknown software in my Android. I also put firewall on it. At least, my precious data can not be stolen. Moreover I turn off data connection when I am not using it. AFAIK, my device is working well and no sign of infection. My advice, never install an application that you do not know or there is no review.

I have recently got myself an Android smartphone and have been wondering about this. I do have an antivirus installed which scans everything upon being downloaded and installed though. Nothing detected yet. My partner has had an Android smartphone for quite a while and has downloaded hundred of apps. No problems as of yet. Can malicious apps be removed from the market?
