simple request to mylot

I think adding notifications in the site is a good idea so that we can easily see if there's a new response/comment for our discussion/response. But regarding like button I think the +/- rating we have here already serve that purpose the difference is we can't see it

it will be likely helpful to everyone. i hope mylot admin can add that kind of feature. it will be user-friendly and very useful. anyway lets just wait until they make these changes. that's pretty exciting. have a nice day!

You can choose what notifications you see here: http://www.mylot.com/nr/editNotifications.aspx and by turning notifications ON for each friend whose activity you would like to be notified about. The Discussion Rating System - '+' sign next to each post except your own - has the same kind of function of the 'Like' button in Facebook. In addition, giving posts a '+' rating will help other people earn more. You cannot expect to become fully acquainted with how a website works after just a day of using it and nor can you expect any website to be similar to another. MyLot is primarily a DISCUSSION site which has some social networking features. It is really NOTHING like Facebook and was never intended to be.

welcome to mylot. Mylot is a different type of website. We should not compare it with facebook. Features that are there in mylot are not there in facebook. I suggest you use this for say a few months, experience and then give suggestions. Present format has lasted the test of various periods and please enjoy this.

Yap,thats a good suggestion to add notification icons.But there is already like and dislike.Anyway,just keep mylotting here,you will feel it easy here.It is the best social sites and you will earn also.
