I had two valves repaired 2 yrs ago and it seems like I have been slower to recover than I should have been. I wonder if others here have had this experience. I now have other problems that I did not have before. Such as depression, anxiety, year long allergies that were only seasonal before and vertigo which I never had before. Does anyone else have any comments on this?

I am doing great. Thanks for asking. My Dr said I was most likely born with this. So, it just took a long time to come out.

Oh my gosh. So the heart attacks could have happened at any time then in your life?!

that is considered as a major surgery.i have nobody known who has underwent such surgery to tell you about the after effects.i guess you should speak to your doctor about all these symptoms and their relationship with your surgery.

Yes, I have and it's pretty much expected. I just wondered if others were taking this long to recover. I know it's an individual thing and depends on other illness one might have. Since I am diabetic I imagine that is part of the problem.
