i come from the Philippines and our rainy seasons have been very fierce lately. floods reach up to our necks so there is nothing very enjoyable about it. when it is raining there is very little that we can do but to sit around the house and be vigilant because the flood waters just come up without any warning at all. with the rain come also thunder and lightning and there had been several deaths caused by lightning so it is better to just stay in the house to be safe.

first iam indonesian too
same with you
in our country only 2 season
dry season and wet season
now the weater can`t be predicted..so sometimes we don`t know if now is wet season or dry season
go to the point
what can we do if we did not enjoy the season??
angry??
angry with whom if there are wet season??
so we only accept the situation my friend..so enjoy your self when wet season comes..
maybe like almost in the home, always check BMKG website for weather prediction, always prepare home in good condition, prepare for flooding and anything else can you do when rain season comes

There is not much to enjoy if it's wet season. This is since the past years our summer. Showers whole day on, never dry, everything wet and molt, you feel sick till your bones and this shows. Many allergies, hard time walking so we leave our country and go to an other place where it's warm or better hot and dry.
At this moment it's gray, fog (so wet again), freezig cold and most people are sick.. so we have long seasons that make you sick till the bones, we are inside our wet houses, go to bed early to save energy to heath the house and hope for better days. There is nothing peaceful in never ending rain or cold, or exciting if you live in the wrong country.

I also drink coffee or something that is hot. During rainy days wherein I can't go out, I usually catch up on my readings or take the time to put in a frame the letter stamps I've collected. Once done with that, I can now have it displayed on our wall :)

In my home country we have seasons called spring, summer, autumn and winter. I am quite used to traveling to countries and areas that have a tropical temperature. For example I went to Darwin in the Northern Territory, Australia. I found it to be hot and humid. I remember taking a walk on a beach when the rain came down with great force. There were sounds of thunder and scary flashes of lightening. I walked back along the road and cars splashed me.
I like to hear the pit pat noises of rain dropping on my porches roof. It is lovely to be inside when it is pouring with rain. On such a day I like to read books, write stories or go on to the Internet. If I have to walk to the school in the rain I put on my rain coat and my daughter if in welly boots loves to walk in the puddles.

I don't enjoy any day at all. It is a rather dismal and miserable time. Therefore I get rather tired and sleepy. Not to mention that I am going to get rather cranky during the rather wet stuff. It is not really a good time to really be outside as well and I enjoy being outside to say the very least. So the wet season causes me not to really be outside, so I am rather going to be rather agitated more often than not.
So yes the wetness and the rain, it is rather going to really be something that is going to frustrate me more often than not. I just sit by the window, wondering when it's going to clear up and dry up, so I can get my thoughts together. Granted, if I concentrate enough, I can get a lot of thoughts pulled together more easily to say the very least. Still it is really going to be times where the wet season is going to be most agitating.

I might look out the windows from time to time, but I won't enjoy staring the rain for too long though. I hope that sunny days will come soon. I just tired of the rainy days, which I felt lazy, and I won't be able to go out that often.

It is a good time for relaxing. In wet season, many friends don't like going out. So I can talk with them, sharing each other with the interesting things. Maybe it is a good idea. But Now I have to work and many friends start their career periods and all of us are very busy. So no matter what the weather or the season is, we are at work.
