Fusion of the Ancient and the Modern

Japan is really a melting pot of the old and the new and my belief on this grows every time I get to watch Japanese cultural videos shown in one of my local channels. I truly love how they treat their culture with utmost care and pride and how all of them, from young to old join hands in celebration. Even though they regard their past highly, they can still mix it up with the new technologies that they are continuously developing. What a combination this truly is and I just hope that this is also true in my country.
