A friend of mine spent about approximately $2100 for a family of 4 package on a cruise to Bahamas. So, the total price for each person is about $500, which include three meals, sodas, and housing. Not bad of a deal huh? I would love to go to, but I just don't have time and also I want my friend go with me. The problem is when my friend doesn't have time, I have plenty of time for traveling; or they are not interest in the destination I suggest them. It was kind of limited option to me. Gosh, I shouldn't take all of vacation hours away at the beginning of this year, I should save some for the holiday seasons, so I can go somewhere.

kingparker I want to go on an Alaskan cruise but I am afraid to be stuck in the middle of the ocean with hundreds maybe thousands of people and no way off...lol I want to see land on any cruise I go on..I have only been on one. It was on the Rhine from Rotterdamn to Basal..it was awesome, but I could see land the entire week long trip .... it wasn't a huge ship..
Where would you like to take a cruise?

I haven't been in a cruise yet. I really wanted to try it in the future. It would be quite expensive especially if I would choose a Caribbean cruise since I am from Asia and it would be a long way to go there. There is a cruise in Singapore that I am looking forward to try, it will sail through Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. I think this will be a good start. I need to save some money though since again it will still be expensive. I don't want to experience cruising alone and want my husband and baby to be with me. The expense would be three times but I am pretty sure that it will be more nicer than sailing without them.

My best friend had her honeymoon in the Bahamas and Florida. The beaches in her photos looked splendid. Wow! I think your friend got a cheap deal for the family of 4 people. It is great that it includes three meals a day, sodas and a room. They might have a family cabin with two bunk beds. Other cabins would have twin beds or a double bed I imagine. You are right not to take up all your vacation time now. It is far better to wait until later this year. Good luck choosing where you will go to.

I went on a cruise years ago to the islands. The islands were not that wonderful, they were nice. But the ship, man, they have everything on there. When it comes to food they have everything you can imagine. They also have a desert time after dinner, there is another dining room full of tables with every kind of desert you could possibly think of. Awesome. They have shows also on the ship and gift shops. You hardly every have to leave the ship. It's like it's own island floating on the water.

That is something I really want to try to! The problem is, when you want to bring most of your loved ones to be there with you on a cruise, the budget is raised even higher. ;) That's one thing that I hope I'd win a raffle ticket with, cruising! And I don't care wherever they take me but it's just the experience of a lifetime I'm after hehehe. :D

i sometimes have these problems too.even sometimes my friend and i had a same period for travel but we don't want to go for the same place.
so, if you feel your vacation time is limited, just go for yourself,
if not you can wait for your friends.
ps: what kinds of places would you want to go? beaches? forests? desert? mountains?or else?

I have not been on a cruise yet. I have been dreaming about it. Caribbian cruise is one of my dreams. Yes, the package you mentioned is quite an attractive one. The other cruise I have been thinking about is the Medittarian cruise. That would be very beautiful too.

It's surely a cheap cruise. Why don't you go alone or find someone else to travel with? As I understand these ships are big, with many people, can't be hard to make contact over there.

I think it would be really fun to go on a cruise. I've hardly ever traveled, and never out of the country. That sounds really fun. It is a pretty good deal too, especially considering the great view of the ocean.
I think saving up vacation time is an excellent idea. It will be a good relief when it finally comes time to use it too.

I wish I have enough money to go on a cruise. The price of the deal I saw online was around $500 for every person minimum of 2. I think it's already a good deal yet I don't think I can afford it still. In your situation, I think you should plan it in advance so that you can synchronize your time or if not can file your vacation leave to fall on the same date. Once you are on the cruise, enjoy it and think that not a lot of people are privileged enough to have an experience like you are about to have. :)
