Issues with being a craft lover

My only real issues I have come across are having the right stores that supply at the right prices and with what you need to craft with at the right times within your budget. If you are on a fixed budget and must watch every penny this is very tricky, find a catalog company or website even a local craft store that sells at the right prices and keeps those supplies well stocked. It always seems to me that the big problem found here is the local stores have the great prices but never the stocked supply while the catalog companies and or websites have all the great amount of supplies and way too high of prices. The best way to be a crafter on a strict budget is to find that one place that has lower prices and stocked shelves both. If you know of such a place I would be so thankful to know of it. Thanks,A.B.

That's one reason I got into the business, selling scrap booking supplies, the closest Micheals or Hobby Lobby is 95 miles from here. Walmart carries some of the basics, but it can be hit and miss. What type of supplies are you looking for, I know of several good websites, and some offer free shipping depending on size of order, others have a set rate for shipping, doesn't matter what size order or where it's being shipped too. I am on email lists at probably a dozen different sites including Micheal's and Hobby Lobby, they do have great sales and coupons, and every couple of months Micheal's will have a coupon for 20% off entire purchase including sales items.

I'd like to know of it, too. The best way to save money on crafts that I've found is to sign up online for company newsletters and you will usually get good coupons. Michael's and Hobby Lobby both send out coupons usually worth 40% off any one item in the store. JoAnn's has coupons, too, but I can't remember how much theirs is.
It's hard to find just what we need sometimes, I agree. I suspect it would cost too much to stock a craft store with everything, though.

Yes I agree with you, I have been involved in many different crafts over the years and I always had problems with getting the supplies, and changing crafts didn't help either because I had many different shops on my list, I hope you find what you are looking for.
