You ever get to the point where you feel so tired and worn out you don't know how you are still awake? Where the only reason you are awake is because you have to be, not because you want to be?
I'm at that point. This past week everyone in my house has been sick. That's the total of 7 people. It didn't happen in a day either. It was over the entire week. First one person then another and then another. The last person was me. I guess it was nice to hold out until the end, but on top of a week of sick kids and a husband it's worn me out to the bone. I really wish I could crawl into bed and not get out of it for about 48 hours. That's how tired I feel.

That will really make you so tired and worn out! Taking care of the kids and the husband plus yourself is pretty tough. I have been trying to avoid getting any virus from my mom and dad since their having cold and cough... if I only have vitamins right now I'll be taking it so that I won't get it in the end. I just hate being sick because that tends to keep our body so heavy and tired

I remember when my kids and husband got sick many, many years ago. I was very tired but did not get sick as you did. Anyway it was terrible. My youngest kept getting out of the bad and my husband was always wanting something from his working papers. Now that I´m on chemo I don´t feel as tired as as remember that time. Children and husbands sick can be exhausting. Take care!

Yes I have reached that point a few times. I just try and keep going because it seems like there is never enough time to get everything done. So even when I'm super tired I feel like I should keep going, when in reality I need to go to sleep. Everyone being sick in your house would be a lot to deal with. You have worked hard to take care of everyone while they are sick and now you are sick and should try and get some rest. I do agree that it is a good thing that you didn't get sick or your family probably wouldn't know what to do with themselves without your loving care.
