not all foods are good for the dogs

dogs cant eat everything as human eating.. there were foods that were bad for them for ex(chocolates,caffeine,grapes and raisins...) i read on a magazine that chocolate has a contain of theobromine that can cause over stimulating the hearts of our pet. ingestion of large amount and can even lead to comatose. caffeine it can damage the heart,kidney and central nervous system. grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure to our loved pet too.. think twice before giving treats to your dogs,a simple act can cause so much trouble and illness to your dogs

Do you guys know if tortilla chips or french fries are bad for dogs? i have a 3 year old German Shepherd, and usually when i grab food from a burger place or if i get a burrito, i will usually share some chips or fries with her. She seems fine, and honestly loves it, but i don't want to continue to give them to her if its hurting her health.

I've heard that not all food could we give the dogs to eat.Also i think it is different to tell your dog and keep accordance with your life.I thought it was easy to have a dog until i saw a tv show,and it tells a lot about how to treat your dog for some acts and so on.I think it's really useful.lol,maybe you could learn something from the tv shows.lol

wow! i didn't know about grapes and raisins.
but with chocolates i knew about it but there was no full details about it so i give some to my dog but just the minimal amount. i see that my dog is pretty much like the owner. he also loves sweets.
but because of this discussion then i would not share any piece of my chocolate to my obedient dog. i am so afraid that i might lose him!

What you wrote was very true. Not all foods can be given to our dogs. I have also heard that chocolates can't be given to them. It's harmful for them. I don't know with the other foods you've mentioned though but thank you for letting us know. So, to just keep it safe, it's better to just give them dog foods to eat.

Oh my god...I didn't knew any thing about this...I always gives such things to him...
He also like that very much...Thank you friend for gave me such information..I will try to avoid that...If it's not good for dogs,I will not give this to my puppy...
I treats him as my family members....

there was a time when we use to give treats to our doggies, most of them managed to stay alive and grow old with us - those times we don't know about chocolates being harmful to them.
Now we are no longer giving our dogs chocolates. But one time I did forget and gave one mug of chocolate drink to one of my pet. And she did had diarrhea and became sick, good thing was that she had recovered from it. Well I will now put it in my head never to give such treats to my doggies.
