I have watched the movie yesterday and I was astonished how science had transformed a chimpanzee to a more human like species, A drug cause the Chimpanzee to be more intelligent and even talk, a series a human daily emotion and affection that he acquired, and manifested to care for human lives, in the movie he still tries to protect humans against the rage of his company, especially the Man who raises him.
It was clearly portrayed that every single species deserved a home, where we could learn the basic mind set that we would apply to our future, he freed his kind because he wanted to go back home and latter realized that home is not place where he was raised. A Home where he can do the things he wanted and a place which we call natural habitats, a place where he really fits.
How would you define your real home?

I've seen that movie too when it was in the theaters and I really loved it and touched with the story. We even decided to watched again Mark Wahlberg's Planet of the Apes soon as we reached home. Well I guess we really should respect animals and creatures. And it's really important for them to live in their natural habitats for it is in our own home we learn to do things we suppose to learn, just like us living with our parents and siblings that teaches us and mold us to become who we are.

Huh?!?! What's wrong with the first commenter
Well yeah and that's how animals should live too. Like pets should live in our own house too otherwise it's hard for them to survive if left on the road.

I have also watched this movie last week. I like this movie because we can get moral lesson from it. Everybody deserves to be respected even animals. Animals should live in their natural habitats. This is one of the best movies I've seen. Thumbs up!

But this movie goes against the original story where the apes evolve to have human characteristics which includes bad as well a good.

I also have just seen this flick and it was awesome. I really loved the way the general group of primates had a role in their animal kingdom you know even the orangutan had his own history to share :-) And so when Caesar really began to think things through it began to work out, he demanded respect and demanded that limits be set to gain that respect amongst the humans. Once again awesome!!
P.S. It was a little freaky when has was able to hold long conversations verbally? O-O

yes, it was amazing when he demand respect, and also he even respect and protect humans too, he saves human many times, when another chimp wants to kill human while escaping he seem to give command " hey, you're not supposed to do that, I guess the movie has a part II, where APES will start to invade the earth, just like the other two movies.

This is a great movie and the message that the movie is trying to convey is obviously about how animals are treated by humans. And it does help to explain how earth became eventually inhabited by apes and how humans declined in number.
Caesar, the chimp definitely knows where his REAL home is but for me home is where the heart is. Wherever my loved ones are that is where I will call home.

it seems you're referring to the past two movies, in deed chimpanzee are far way more stronger than humans, equipped them with the knowledge like humans has, human will surely declined in number, lots of war will occur, they will seek not only HOME but for TERRITORY.

Home is where your heart is. I've seen this film as well and like you, I was astonished with how science modify the was chimpz thinks and even communicate. At the end of the movie, the chimpz themselves know where their true home is and to be able to speak is really unbelievable but who knows, in the future..probably they will be able to.

I would define my real home as a place where i can be free to do the things i want, surrounded by people who care for me as i care for them. It would be a place without corruption and deceit.
