What Would Convince You to Be On myLot All Day if They Stopped Offering Money?

Me, right now I offer myLot about three hours a day (maybe more, usually less), because I've got my YouTube-channel and a blog or three and my Facebook and my email and the television-watching I do (usually while I'm eating) and my three-times-weekly walk around the neighborhood (when I do my shopping and banking and I go out for lunch sometimes).
And then I have to sleep sometimes, and use the restroom regularly. And church on Sabbath. And a Bible-study at a friend's house every-other-week-or-so. And Karaoke some Wednesdays.
But why else (other than 'taking more money') would I drop- or reschedule-one of those activities in favor of myLot?

To be honest, I'm here at myLot because I want to earn a bit of money to add to my already meager income from article writing. If it's not for the earning component, I would probably not come to myLot. But if myLot change the cash earning to gift cards from Amazon, I would still be satisfied. But I need some kind of compensation for spending my time here.

I'm not one who likes to bare my soul or anything like that. When I come to myLot, I do it because of the earning component and I'm being very honest here. I like helping others whenever I can and I will do it for free. But being able to earn at myLot is what brings me to this site every day. Because I have very little time to spare every day with other personal responsibilities to attend to, I will not spend time on a website if I'm not earning anything. I'm just being honest.

You mean you don't find the reassurance from fellow myLot-ers or the chance to express yourself to them 'compensating'?

myLot has become a way with me and will be there for all times. I like this place, money or no money. I am fascinated with my ability to interact at a global level which is only possible here as far as I am concerned.

Great! We're getting close to what I think I wanted this discussion to discuss: the Friendship Faithfulness.
It's why Scott Adams' DILBERT continues to work for so long in a mismanaged office when there are 'better options' bombarding him all the time: because 'that's what he does' and 'the people there need him to do it.'
The money? That's just to provide life-costs so he is still alive to work there.

To be honest, it is the possibility to make money that attracted me to mylot. I would not say for sure I would remain here, the key for me to stay would be the people. I have come to use mylot as the main tool to get my answers, as long as my questions are answered, I guess I would continue to drop by.

Of course I initially started mylot for the income. But I think that I would still check in at least most days. I have learned so much from all my global friends here. I also enjoy the conversations as it has become one of my main social outlets since I am homebound basically.

Making money on internet especially on mylot is my second income source for me. So far, I have just joined two pay sites and I think it is have to do to log in here every day as long as I could. I don't have a certain time table of when to join mylot. I used my spare time to maximally participating on mylot here, moreover, I really am in love with this site beautifully. I am not busy working but I feel it's not fair to work on here while I am working. I have still time to join on mylot every single day.

I think that I would visit this website maybe once every evening to see the types of discussions that people had been posting during the course of the day, however I don't think that I would spend as much time on here as I do at the moment. Although I do love this website, one of the main reasons that I am on here is just to boost my daily online income a little bit; so if they stopped offering the money then I would have to find something else to do instead which would mean that I wouldn't have as much time to spend on here anymore.

Oh that would be a hard sell to most people. I do think that the quality of discussion is really something to really consider at all times when selling this website. Here is the ultimate catch 22 however. If myLot stopped paying, would perhaps seventy percent of the website or more completely bolt for other money earning opportunities? Could that just turn myLot into a slightly higher class version of Facebook?
We don't want to admit it but I think that most here are in it for the money to a certain extent. There need to be other reasons why you need to be here but ripping the money out of the equation is like working with a jaw saw puzzle with more than a few pieces missing. The quality of discussion is a good indicator but I shudder to think what the quality would be like if we weren't getting paid. That's just something to really think about.

I love a good conversation. I don't come back as often, but there will NEVER be a lack of something to talk about and that's what I love about mylot.

Mylot - preferred for the variety of friends it gives. Friends give us knowledge. They share with us their problems and seek solutions from us. I spend an hour or so on mylot every day depending on the interesting topics posted.
