Dreaming of being able to get enough money to finish remodeling our house.

It seems like we literally bought the "Money Pit". lol My husband is a foreman for a small construction company so back when the economy was decent and we wanted to buy our first house. we decided to buy a "fixer-upper". It was supposed to be a five year plan. You know, live there for five years while we fix it up then sell it and build our own brand new house. Now it is turning into the 10 or 15 year plan.:( Even if we were able to financially fifsh fixing it up at this point how in the world would you sell it? Needless to say my dream would be to win some big lottery so that we can finish remodeling our house and build a brand new one. My husband works very hard and deserves it. BIG DREAMER!!!!! I just keep saying Dream and good things come too those who wait.

yes I think your dream will come true one day but at least you have a home probably many would dream to have what you have, I think you will look back on your adventure as a good one, I have just had a porch build on my house by a friend and it seemed to take forever as he was a perfectionist but now I look back, we had a good time building that porch..Good luck to you with your dream.

Yes, that is true. I am very fortunant to still have a home. I think that we too will look back and think of all the good times we had remodiling our house. I am glad to hear that your porch ended up going well and that you had a good time doing it. Thank you for the luck and opening my eyes to a new perspective.
