Forever and Ever

In simplistic terms, life is the specific period between our birth and the ultimate death although no one is willing to think about the imminent cessation of life. The experience of being alive and kicking is so exquisite a feeling that no one, even those whose days are numbered, is ready to snap their ties with life. If science one day stumbles upon the know-how for keeping us alive forever and ever, will life be as sweet as it is now?

The quality of my life/health/body is already bad. I doubt if that will be better if science will find something to make us live forever. Besides of the fact we are already overpopulated, fighting eachtother, are more agressive because we are living way to close to eachother. At this moment I see it this way: those who have to learn a lot have a long life till they learned their lesson(s). Those who are finished leave. You never know when your days are numbered, kids die too! It's the quality of life that counts not the years you make.

I don't think life will be sweeter if we live forever. The world is now congested with people and where are we going to live, get our food or who wants to suffer an illness eternity.

Population explosion, scarcity of food and eternal suffering will sure wear out the sheen that longevity promises.

My answer will be definitely no.But in some cases especially with regards to small children i encourage a lot in the development of science.

That is really kind of you to think about the welfare of children who need to get the benefits of the advancements in science.
