How to get more people to post to your discussions.

I have a question for all you Myloters that have been here. How do you get more people to notice your discussions?...
I have actually tried to post this several times today and each time for some reason the cyberworld would not let me post this.
I have written a few things, but how do you post them so they are noticed by more people.
I have made some friends here, but I cannot see going to my friends list and looking for just their posts.
So tell me, how do I make my stuff more interesting to get more than 10 posts on a discussion?

Everytime someone posst a reply on your discussion it gets bumped back up towards the front of the topics and therefore more people will be apt to see it...and it depends on the time of day this is happenign and who is on....so logically if you are wanting more people to respond the way to get more exposure is to refer the site to friends and get them to join you and be sure to visit and bump each others topics back up and keep them alive...
with that being said I have a lot of topics with zero responses way back in my discussion pages and dang it they are some ingenius ones I tell ya..ha ha...

From what I gather since I've been here on myLot, you have to ask really dumb, simple questions to get a lot of responses. If you use a beautiful girl as your avatar and then ask the question, "Do u think i'm pretty?" you will get pages and pages of responses. Ask about world peace or nuclear war and you might get two answers - IF you're lucky. I have asked quite a few questions and I think the one most answered is, "What is your favorite fruit?"
