Do you give money to beggars or homeless people? Why or why not?

i depends. if i see the beggar is young and healthy enough to get a job, i won't give my money to them. it's going to make them lazier and lazier everyday. i just give money to the old or impaled beggars.

i always wish i could help, but i almost never carry cash. the other day i almost took a guy out for lunch, but i was alone, and i'm not a very big girl, so i want to be safe.

no because i don't want them using the money to do something illegal.

it depends...if I can see that they really need it and my discernment says so I give them some pennies or food.

I give what I can when I can to people. I know that some people who are begging are not as helpless as they want you to think. There was a guy in Maryland that made almost $300 a day and lived in a minimansion in northern Maryland but played at being homeless everyday. But that isn't always the case and I would rather risk giving money to someone that doesn't need it than blow off someone that is desperate for food or whatever.

i do give money i did'nt use to because i know that there area lot of scamers and i decided that if my heart wants to give thenm i do and it is up to them in the end as long as my heart was in the right place they are the ones who have to deal with that later.

I don't tend to give money..I give food or offer a ride to a shelter..unemployment line..have even taken a women in and let her shower gaver fresh clothes they only really want someone to care
