Yesterday i was listening to Joyce Mayer podcast on my phone and i really learned a lot from her preaching. I realized that what i don't have much knowledge about love and if i do know, i'm not putting it into practice.
Joyce Mayer said we should learn how to love outside of our comfort zone. Which means love your enemies. But of course it's a very difficult thing to do. She said when we love someone, we must learn how to value them. For example, if my secretary would say that her favorite thing to do is eat breakfast at McDonalds every Saturday morning, it would really mean a lot to her if out of the blue i would give her a McDonald's gift certificate. She would appreciate it not because she got money that she could use but because I went out of my way to give her something because she told me she loves doing it.
If we value our possession that much that we don't even want our children to play with those things thinking that they might break it, then we should be doing the same thing to the people that we love. We should value them by protecting them so that they won't break as well.
So I made a promise yesterday that from that moment i am going to LOVE OUT LOUD! LOL

this is a really lovely discussion :)
when i seen the title of lol i thought it was laugh of loud, and i thought you were going to tell me a funny little story. but this is a really good story, and i like it. i like the idea of going out of your way for people.
to be honest with you, i sort of already am a love out loud kind of person. i'm already very giving and generous and like to go out of my way for people to make them happy.
for example. my partner wants a teddy bear. shes nearly 23 and it sounds silly, but she doesn't have a teddy bear of her own. so i am going to get her build a bear vouchers for christmas. HOWEVER, she loves batman, as you probably already know, and build a bear do not do a batman costume anymore. so i searched for days, and finally got one on ebay. so now when she gets her vouchers, she'll also have a little batman outfit already :)

it's not that easy to do it as easy it is to say. I don get one point, why should we love a person who never wants out good? This can never turn that person to doing our good, rather he will get more opportunities to harm us. So I am no gonna LOVE OUT LOUD to people and make myself vulnerable to any sort of problems.

Love out loud hah. I didn't hear the podcast but I know that is a slightly wierd if true outlook on it. I don't think going out of my way to do something for an enemy well change their opinion or feelings toward me so that to me seems pointless. But hey it is worth a shot
