dark spot on knee

During my pregnancy i noticed dark spot formulated on my knees. i ignored it before thinking that its only part of abnormal pigmentation that brought by pregnancy period. now that its already two years since giving birth, dark spots on my knees never gone.its really annoying and embarassing especially if i'm wearing dress above the knee level. i tried home remedy such as rubbing calamansi during bath time but still never cured about it. I came to a conclusion that my friends here could give me any suggestions of other remedies to whiten my dark spot on knees. your idea is highly appreciated that somehow might help me to resolve my problem.
