Every day people moan and complain about just about every aspect of life. They complain about the various problems in their lives. They complain about not having enough money. They complain about the things they don't have in life. They even complain about having to get up in the morning. Times flies and age takes hold. The years of life brought us wisdom and knowledge. As we look back, we see just how wonderful the people have been in our lives. We see the good times that were hidden from us in the past. Things change. People and life are not the same. Among all those days we complained so hard, they were really the Good Ole Days. We would love to go back again. Take a few steps back and look at your life. Choose to value the people, our relationships, and all the good things that are really Priceless. We can enjoy the good ole days as we live them, if we only will. Do you realize These Are The Good Ole Days???? LIVE! Enjoy!

Thank you for the good advice, Preacher... People will always complain no matter how beautiful their life is cause people is not a saint or an angel. I choose to try to understand them even though sometimes it is very hard to do so...

Oh sure, people will complain. That's when you shine that light on what is really important. Now, I'm not really worried about you. I know you are living the good ole days as we speak. Somehow, I think it is in your nature. ooops. I mean.

Some people are never satisfied, they always have some moan or another.Actually in real life, there is no best but better. If you take rose views, you surely find out every day is the good ole day.One must bear in mind that "enough is as good as a feast" and never covets wealth and power .

What you said is quite reasonable. One must enjoy himself each day and doesn't worry about nothing.

Yes. If only we could see now as we will in the future. Perhaps a positive attitude is all we need to see now for what it is.

I have to agree with you on this one Bird. This is as good as it gets and it will not get any better than what we all have right now. Although there are a few people in my life that I would like to be still with me, but in saying that I would not change a thing

Hi bird: You are absolutely right. I hate when people complain too much about the things that are not working the way they would love to. I admit, there are so many things that are just not right but if we focus on the negative things, always we wouldn't value the good things that are around us until we lost them and that's sad. ALVARO

I am one of those complainers that wastes time thinking about the past, the future and hating the present. Just looking at your post, I realize that life is way to short and that I should just live and be happy. I am starting to realize that 5 years from now, I'll be sitting in my room thinking back on 2011 and saying "Ah, the good ole days."

That's Great! Now that you realize these are the good ole days, you won't have to wait 5 years to really enjoy them.

yes it is a common thing for people to keep thinking about the past anf wishing and hoping for the future, saving for the future, even going without today to save for the future none of us are guaranteed to have, with all the looking back and looking forward we tend to forget to live for today...the sooner we learn that life is so short and we should grab it while we have it and enjoy every minute and put the past in the past and jus hope that the future will ge a good one... Now is the time to live...
