I am not even sure if my spelling of this boxing legend is correct and I don't even want to google it. For days, people have been anticipating this fight with Marquez since I don't know, he doesn't have a clear idea that he is still bound to lose. Pacquiao is a great boxer and he almost never loses. I think. I don't know what's his boxing status is all I know that the past 5 years or so, he hasn't lost a damn fight and If I guessed it correctly, he earns more in each fight he has.
And since I am not a fan of boxing and I just know famous boxers but not their titles. All I know is that Muhammad Ali has Parkinson's and Donaire is kinda hot. So sue me.
ANyway, watching the start of the fight gave me goosebumps and made my eyes tear up. I guess in the deepest recesses of my hypothalamus, I admire Pacman for his being great at boxing. He brought pride and honor to all the Filipinos in the world. And he really did try to learn English. I always believed that it's never too late to learn and I admire people who never stop learning.
So the fight is still on and I don't even know the rules of boxing. I'm just waiting for it to be over and for him to win! Pinoy PRide!
Atleast in some aspects, Pilipinas is doing great. But that's another topic to discuss. :D
Go Pacman, Make us all proud!

The man is really a legend and I love him for not only being a source of pride for us Filipinos but also because I can see and feel in him the sincerity that he truly loves the Philippines and being a Filipino. I hope that many of us Filipinos see these traits of Manny :)

I am a big fan of boxing too and Manny Pacquaio- I think Nonito Donaire would soon follow in his footsteps. I eagerly waited for the fight though, in the tv and the radio, but the radio ended first and knew who won the fight. Manny is such a good fighter and he still remains humble and even shares his wealth to others.

Hi. I can't argue with you that he brought pride to a lot of Filipinos. I was also a proud fan once. I got a bit disillusioned when he ran for public office. It's not that wanting to serve his constituents as a public official isn't good, it's the wasted time and taxpayer's money when he trains for a fight that bothers me. I guess I'm just one of those hard-headed people who believes that serving in a public capacity is a full-time job. Like you said, so sue me :)

I was never a fan, actually. I guess I just got a bit excited with all the people's reaction for the fight. I share the same sentiments when he ran for office. I was like, what the hell was he thinking? and yes, the money they use for his training is ri-di-cul-ous!!! :D
