Manny wins..Did he deserve the winning??

The fight is over,Manny wins. I was watching the fight since round one and i cant believe my eyes that Manny will win the game. All we thought Marquez will win because of the fight he give today. Everybody in Marquez side thinks the same. "Why Manny wins" is i think the question everybody has in their minds today. Do you think Manny deserves it??

If it was a fair fight, then yes he deserved to win sweetie. But it is strange as i hear a lot of people asking this though.

And you'll hear it from me too.. I don't know but watching it makes me say Marquez deserves the game. Though my father explains to me how Manny wins i'm just not convinced.

I'm not into any sport sweetie. But what i don't understand is how someone can win, IF most think he shouldn't have. I think your father will have a hrd time trying to explain that to me as fairness is always first on my list.

All i know is that,if Manny looses this fight, Bob Arum will not get Manny and Floyd Gayweather in the ring.

well what did i say...he'll win by unanimous decision right?I saw the fight and thought that Marquez was up for an upset victory,but that's the politics of boxing,I know many here in US felt the same thing,Pacquaio would go down in history of boxing as a true gentleman had he given up the belt to marquez but oh well. I can't stand this sport anymore,I just hope that Manny will retire after this and enjoy his millions. hopefully he won't give Floyd Gayweather a chance to make at least $30 million by fighting him,he clearly don't deserve it.

I doubt it,there's just so much money to be made or him to retire at this stage,probably one or two more and that's it. need more money to support jinky's penchant for plastic surgery did you see her she look like ensaymada from malolos.

But in the interview, looks like Bob Arum wants another fight from Manny and Marquez. I think Manny needs to let go of this and not accept it. And like you hope this is the last..

I think the result has come as a surprise to most of the viewers of the match. Unfortunately, I did not see the match, but read about it. Apparently Marquez boxed intelligently and nullified Manny's left hand. Like their previous two decisions, this was another wafer thin decision, but most people feel it should have gone in favor of Marquez rather than Manny!! Cheers! Ram

Nope I do not bet real money in sports. I do bet in competitions that do not involve real money. But even in those I do not bet on sports such as boxing which can easily be fixed!! Cheers! Ram

no! because there was no knock out and we can see (you did) that marquez had a good body shots at manny... so why did he win? well ask those big guys that bet on manny... ask them how much will they loose if manny lost at the game... good day everyone! hey choose me for best answer!

Luntian is absolutely right,had manny lost the fight the casinos here in Vegas and lots of people who bet on pacquiao would have lost tons of money(millions of dollars).....

Yes, he deserves to win. Almost everyone is thinking that he cheated, or the system cheated but seriously, we'll have to put in mind that Juan Manuel Marquez was the challenger in that game, so he must and have to knockout Manny Pacquiao or crush him totally with overpowering punches to gain him a lot of points compared to PacMan. It was pretty obvious that Marquez gave up a good fight but we have to credit PacMan for the win because both of them knew the strategies and rules of winning beforehand. :) Happy Mylotting!

Being a Filipino, I am happy that Manny wins the fight over Marquez. But I am not satisfied because his trainer was expecting too to have a knock out fight. Manny wins because of the intensity of his punch, and most of it landed on Marquez. Marquez has many attempts to land Manny punches, but it is not as hard as the one Manny counters at Marquez. Yes, it is a very closed fight which makes the Manny's group to be doubtful on whether he would get it. The judges and the fight analyst/announcer had the same count on the blows, so I think the overall judgement is fair.

Definitely yes!!!. His long experience and exposure to so many fights have made him strong enough to always win. He is very much disciplined when it comes to his training and blessings pour on him because of his generosity. But of course there is always an end to all winnings and that is as he ages, everybody becomes weaker as they get old and so he should make the assurance for himself that he will retire when he feels he needs to, otherwise it will be a victory to his enemy once they see him fell on the ground in losing the fight.

i watched the whole game but i shut down the TV after the fight because i think Manny is lose or at least draw, but i was surprised to find out that the winner is Pacquiao... i don't know how boxing score works but as much as i want to see Pacquiao win, i really think this match is won by Marquez...

I can't really say if he really deserved that win because I wasn't able to see his fight. But as soon as the fight was over, my friends kept on texting me that it was not a fair game. They thought Marquez was gonna win but then it was Manny.

My father explains to me that he deserves to win because what Marquez do most of the time is to counterpart.. But really even the team Pacquiao thinks they lost the game.

Well, i think the two fighters deserves to win the fight but there are things that are maybe hard to believe but there are true basis about it. We are not talking about of how he won the fight but we're talking about the source. From the judges ratings and comparison to the results itself. Maybe we are just expecting too much about how Pacquiao will defeat Marquez but just a reminder that not all things happens the same as it is before.
