Pacman prayed while marquez praised himself right after the fight.

What do you think about the fight? I think manny deserves to be the winner. You can really see the difference between the two in terms of attitude.

I think It was clear that marquez knew he had won the game. He had bruised pacquiao in the fight and pacquiao did not give quality punches to marquez... he was unscathed! When it came to the attitude, i believe that we all know that pacquiao is religious and well, he always does pray before he starts a fight and maybe at the time, he knew he has already lost, or something... he was not even able to raise his hand up when he usually does in his previous 12 round fights.

Based from my observation, although Marquez gave some good punches he looked like he was beat up more than Pacquiao, since he had more cuts and his face and body was quite red.. Many had a hard time in the fight though since ha always made the sign of the cross at almost every round. I think Manny being humble and religious is also what makes a good boxer.

If I would've seen both fighters at the end without even watching the fight, I would probably have said that Pacquiao had won due to Marquez' face which looked more swollen, but I've learned that the theory is superficial. Regardless of the judges controversial decision, I share the same feeling with journalist Adam Berlin from www.boxing.com QUOTE What about body language? Fighters are often not the best poker players when it comes to pain. How many times have we seen a boxer smile after he’s been rocked? It’s the easiest tell in the book. In this fight, Manny Pacquiao was not even smiling. His eyes were distracted. He couldn’t quite believe that he, the pound-for-pound king, the overwhelming favorite, the invincible Pac Man, was getting beaten. Sitting on his stool, Pacquiao looked like the loser. Bloody. Distracted. Tired. And it was clear that his corner was equally worried. Freddie Roach, usually a voice of reassurance and insightful strategy, was strangely quiet between rounds. For this fight, Pacquiao’s childhood friend Buboy Fernandez was yelling instructions, fearful that his best buddy was in serious trouble. Gone was the synergy of team Pacquiao. Gone was the supreme confidence. So gone that there was no plan B, no sage advice offered to the fighter who has won so easily over recent years—a defeated-looking Pacquiao sat in a defeated-acting corner, practically sulking. Lie as they might after the fight, Team Pacquiao knew the truth during those minutes of rest. And when the camera panned to Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee, the tears in her eyes came from pain, not joy. ENDQUOTE Those are just my two cents.

I think this is a unique trait of manny when he is fighting. I do think that most boxers are really boastful in nature because I think that is what the adrenaline and the hormones running in his body that is why after every fight they tend to be overwhelmed with emotions. But right now, I think what is more controversial about this fight is not about the attitude of both but there is a question of Pacquiao deserving the crown because many have noticed that his performance has decreased on the ring and Marquez did perform better in this bout.
