Congratulations Sir PacMan, Another Victory for our " National Fist ". There's always a rule for any battle, and a rule is a rule should not be broken. Do you find the victory to be controversial?

Not really, although it was a close fight.. Manny didn't seem to be fighting in his best that day, but he wasn't knocked out.. I heard, when a challenger challenges someone, he should knock them out to take his place. Many clearly fought better in the second half, therefore winning.

Well I guess the rules are different with normal boxing fight. Since the battle is all about Championship Belt, the rules are quite elevated. The rules serves him right though.

The fact is JMM is a great counterpuncher and I give him a kudos for that. But then what he achieved was land more punches to Pacquiao than any other opponents...Not because he was agressive, but because he waits and backpedals all throughout the game for Pacquiao to initiate the fight. Even if it was close, Pacquiao landed more punches based on Compubox. The instant replays unfortunately dont show much of Pacquiao's landed punches because they are not as dramatic as that of Marquez' punches. Do boxers win if he has more punches that are stronger? The answer is no. This is the reason why Floyd Mayweather always win even if he punches like a girl. In the last Pacman-JMM however, you can very well see that Pacman's punches affected JMM's face. What prevented Marquez' face to become bloodied was because he avoided initiating fight. Instead, he always waits for Pacman to finish punching then attacks. He surely looks good in that way, but the judges know he was not convincing and agressive enough. And that is why Marquez lost and Pacman won - because the challenger should be bring the fight forward, not defend himself all the time. Let us all realize this is professional boxing, not a street brawl. Some people are disillusioned because they thought Pacman will always beat his opponents to a bloody pulp. This is one instance when the rules of boxing prevailed over hype.

you said: "Do boxers win if he has more punches that are stronger? The answer is no." Well, i appreciated that... but i notice the direction of their footworks... Juan Manuel Marquez keeps on maintaining retreating steps while Manny Pacquiao keeps on attacking forward steps this simply means that Marquez can't resist the power robotic bulldozer punches of Pacquiao....

That's what I read in yahoo news that the decision, Manny beats Marquez was controversial. I haven't seen the fight but I guess the result was fair, the committee would not risk their profession just for an unfair decision.

Well the fight itself was already controversial, and their previous battle seems to be controversial in every different aspect. And the result has its own construction of being so controversial, I guess Marguez got even thirsty for defeating PacMan. Another Controversial Fight is Upcoming.

Yesterday, i watched Pacman-Marquez' fight live at Solar TV. When the 12th round was finished, i seem to have in mind that it was Marquez who won, though i am a fan of Pacquiao. But i was surprised when it was announced that Pacman won! I wasn't happy with that game because it seems to me that Marquez won in that fight. Even, Jinkee was caught surprised when she was told about it.

Controversial? yeah yeah because some believe Marquez won the fight but I think Pacquiao deserved to be the winner of the fight but I can say it's a really tight and tough fight for MP and the score is quite different from what I expected. For sure there is another rematch coming.

Yes, I believe that there would be a 4th match, I am looking forward for that match, as I said its all about rules, since not all people do boxing they would be sseing the result as a controversial one.

Well I am a Pacquiao supporter as well. But from what I have witnessed in the fight I think I am also having second thoughts about the decision. Pacquiao for the first time in his fight I witnessed a great fight and I saw that he did get big punches that favors Marquez in this fight. I am not questioning the decision since I am not expert in this field but then I seriously looking at some angle that in this fight Marquez may have some point that he deserved the crown but then again judges have already made their judgment then I think Pacquiao deserves this one again and is given a chance to retain his crown.

The fight between Marquez and Pacquiao, I heard, was good. My boyfriend said it didn't quite satisfy him. The judges has a unanimous decisions, according to him. It was sort of biased that they chose Pacman as the winner of the fight. Maybe it was for the benefit of his fans. Marquez, my father said, wasn't fighting that well compared to his earlier years. Both threw in many good punches toward each other, making the competition for the winner's title all the more tighter. XD Since, I didn't really watch the match, I had to rely on other people's ideas and information to know about it. Yesterday, i was busy with babysitting i didn't get to watch TV. XD
