Other than the troops deployed in the Middle East and the intelligence agencies fighting an endless war with terrorism, I believe we need to remember the tireless (or tired) 3300 workers in Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear power station in Okuma, Japan.
Since the fateful earthquake and tsunami that erupted in March this year which wrote a new chapter in Japan's history book.
Because of their undertaking and commitment the situation in Okuma is on the road to recovery and most of all, radiation is contained. A salute to them and others who have one way helped and contributed to the long road of recovery.

Before the natural disaster and meltdown, all Japaneses are mislead into believing that nothing disastrous will ever happen in every nuclear facilities inside Japan, the nuclear industry and government watchdog managed to convince all Japaneses all the precaution and safety measures are taken and in placed to counter any impending mishap. But take a look at Fukushima nuclear plant emergency response, these workers are struggled to contain the melt down inside an ill equipped facility, malfunction safety system; using primitive equipment and acted in a disorganized manner trying hard to contain the runaway meltdown, some even ran the risk of nuclear contamination for a tragic end personally. It is just sad these workers are being called to make the ultimate sacrifice for Japan's nuclear industry multi billion profiteer's venture that is highly irresponsible. Yes, these workers need a salute from all Japanese for making the final sacrifices to save the land.
