Well for some time I wanted to see how Facebook was created and tonight I'm finally seeing the movie on Facebook! I heard it was really cool, and a while back ago I was very interested in how social networking worked and I wanted to create a private network for a small group of friends. I'm getting somewhat off topic but never mind! I just wanted to know if anyone of you have seen the movie and if so, would you recommend it, and what were your views? Was it enjoyable, boring, interesting, funny, or what? Thanks in advance! :)

I've watched the movie, it's enjoyable and interesting and I would definitely recommend it!
The movie "Social Network" is not only about Facebook, it also shows how money and success can destroy friendships and it's a great film to watch even if you don't have facebook. It's a drama film, showing how the idea of facebook was generated and evolved and the people behind the social network. I personally believe that the actors are also ideal for the characters.
I am waiting for your opinion after you see it!

Interesting! I love movies likeso, and I would love to see how they progress from an idea, to a fortune, but the friend split-up sounds kind of sad! I would hate to lose my friends with the acquisition of mad wealth!

Yes the friendship part is present from the beginning until the end of the movie and I was also sad to see how it was evolved. But if a moment like this comes to your life you never know how you will react. I don't agree either, but money and success can really change people and don't forget that the movie is based on the true story!

The Facebook movie - did you mean "The Social Network"?
Oh, yes, I already watched it months ago..
Well, it's a good film.. It just, the big question is: "how much of the film is factual?" (http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2010/oct/20/mark-zuckerberg-the-social-network) Well, maybe most people, including me, don't really care about that and just enjoy the drama there, lol..
Well, honestly, I was a bit upset with that movie. I expected to see some techie or geeks things in that film while it seems I just got a lot of drama there.. :P

The social network is a 2010 drama film about Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of facebook. The idea comes one night when his girlfriend dumps him and he decides to create a blog entry about her. The initial inspiration was to develop an in-college site with girls photos where everyone votes based on which girl is more attractive. The story is also about his relationship with his best friend who initially helps him but then he is cut out of the successful company with an insignificant share.
You can buy the dvd from amazon for $12.25 new or used for around $3. The movie has an interesting trailer with nice music, which sums up what the movie is about.
I would recommend to watch this first on youtube and then decide if you like the movie.

I also have seen this movie recently, last month I guess on HBO. I was very inspired in the movie about being successful in your craft. It has also a deeper message in the movie, what is more important? success or friendship? was Mark Zuckerberg really happy with his life? He became the youngest billionaire in the whole world but he lost his bestfriend in the process.
