What are your takes on multi level marketing? Given that the company is legit, will I prosper if I join one? Who amongst us are already a member?

100$ is already a good earning. That would help me a lot in my expenses if I have that amount.

What kind of multi-level marketing you prefer, friend. That is online mlm or offline mlm. Well, I still don't try mlm online. I tried mlm offline but not successful in that field to make extra money. My upline cheated on me and does not deliver the money that intended for me. All money that I earn will be put into his bank account instead on me...where I invest money on it. Now, I am disappointed with mlm and not try again

I don't know if I still doing mlm because what happen to me. I don't trust people in mlm at the moment because all the people that I trust and finance them to be on that mlm but never pay me and until today I still try to find them and ask to back my money...

As a practice, it is much advisable to the mlm where your friends/kakila are. You can't trust an MLM if they don't have a cashier and has poor management. The MLM company must directly give your check to you. It becomes a scam when the upline is the one who gives the money to his/her downline.

Hi, don't worry too much about your upline. He is just one of those not so good guys. In UNO, we care about each other even though we are just crosslines. A legit MLM company directly gives the payment to the distributor's bank account. UNO delivers the commissions of its distributors to the member's RCBC bank account.

Though I'm not against MLM, I would suggest you to be very picky on companies. Look out whether they provide good product and relatively fair price. And look out whether they offer fair compensation, without too much complicate conditions. Some companies will insist you to make a monthly purchase to qualify for commission. And some companies will insist you to achieve some target to qualify for commission. I've studied many MLM companies' plans, of which only one company that impressed me. That was Vestige Marketing, a MLM company from India, which is spreading international. (But, it's not available in Philipines, now.) And, though it was impressive, I don't have time to promote, so I just buy products for myself.

MLM is a dynamic concept and you operate as an individual and as a team. It is very important to work as an individual because you will inspire others to do the same. The team is important because you can learn from the leaders and you can watch the growth of newbies, there will be no shortage of inspiration but guard against negativity and whining. Initially you will have to work hard and smart and once your network has grown you continue to work smart with your leaders so that they do the same and the newbies follow their example. A growing network may make you complacent but therein lies the danger, your entire network can become unproductive very quickly. Also one has to follow the market economy and the technological advancements. Conventional internet marketing wisdom advocates and suggests that you start with your warm circle but you should also think of starting your business with the cold market as a rejection will not hurt and to tap the cold market use the internet, the social sites, the forums, the chat forums.. see what I mean? I am a part of a huge networking opportunity and would like to invite a few interested people to join my network but my upline has given very clear instructions to be very particular about who joins up with us, so in case you are interested in an online presentation do send me a personal message, I can help you. Ciao!

Wow, you sound like a seasoned MLM'er. Do you think I can still be productive even though I am a shy type person and not a good conversant?

Shy or not shy you must be ambitious and focussed to succeed, if you are serious you know what to do.

It's been said that the good part about starting an MLM business is that it takes relatively little money to buy into it; but the bad part about starting an MLM is, it takes relatively little money to buy into it. When someone invests hundreds of thousands of dollars on a franchise or start up, their entire financial well being rides on success or failure. When people invest a few hundred (or less) then if it fails, all they are out is that few hundred. So most people in MLMs work them for a few months, and quit if they aren't making money. MLM is a great business model because it allows anyone (regardless of income level) a shot at being an entrepreneur. I know people who once made less than $15,000 a year, who just a few years later were making that in a week! Of course, I also know people who weren't making anymore than that 5 years later. The biggest thing to remember is, no new business has a better than 5-10% chance of success. So anyone who says that MLM is a rip off because the changes of success are small doesn't know anything about business in the first place. The next biggest thing to remember is, most people aren't money motivated, they are emotion motivated. So don't buy into any MLM (or any other kind of business) thinking the changes of hitting it big are going to carry you through the lean times. In fact, the opposite is true. If all you're in it of is the hope of money, then you probably won't have any motivation when the money isn't coming in. The product or service has to be something you think others will love, and something you at least like yourself. Make sure it's something you would use yourself, even if there wasn't an opportunity to make money doing it. The last advice I'd give is, find one that is doing something that isn't already saturated in the MLM industry. I don't know how anyone markets (yet another) health potion or food plan. I've been to many meetings for all sorts of them, and the sales pitches are almost interchangeable. I stay away from them now because I have no idea how I'd promote it. So when someone approaches you, do a little self checking. If you aren't coming up with ideas about how to promote it while you are hearing about it, it's probably not the one for you. It shows that you're not getting excited about being a distributor... even if the product or service is one you are excited about. I went 20 years listening to friends talk about one MLM or another without ever getting excited about any of them. However, now I'm in one and loving it! That doesn't mean I don't have times I'm not into working it, but that's part of the beauty.. if I don't feel into it at any given time, I don't have to work it... in fact, it's better not to. I don't know how many people I've turned off completely because I forced myself to work it when I didn't really want too.. and it came though. Don't let anyone tell you that you are somehow less of a person if you don't buy into their MLM. Don't let anyone tell you it's "Get rich quick" and never just join to please someone else. Buy into it only if you would do it for nothing.. because for the first part of it, you WILL be doing it for nothing. :~) Yes, I am involved in a great MLM, take a look if you want. I am also involved in Multi-Level Marketing, but mostly with internet-based companies. I find it easier to operate an Internet-based MLM as compared to the old-style MLM in the offline. There are many tools you can use online, that will help you succeed, without much experiencing the hurdles most offline MLMers often have.

In singapore, MLM is illegal while direct selling is legalised. There are not much difference between them both, except for the description of nature in their work. I used to work for a few of such companies but gave up eventually. I would say it's easy money only after months of hard work, to really see results. Commitment is important in the initial stage and one must have the money to burn in order to get a good start. Success depends on u.
