I need a heavy rain for my agricultural purpose. But my neighbor's building concreting is going on and so he want to avoid rain. Both of us pray equally. Can you say whose pray will be answered by god.

Both "prayers" are selfish. Neither will be answered. Prayer isn't about asking for things like a kid asking for something for Christmas. Prayer is ALL about listening to God. If you keep chattering away about YOUR needs, you will never hear anything.

Hello sheetal, For a categorical question, I have these to say: 1. God sees our hearts and knows what is best for us (definitely, more than our moms do). We have our different needs but God provides according to His own time and according to what is best for us. 2. At times, God considers who is praying. James cited Elijah who prayed for a period of no rain for six months and a period of rain for another six months to point out how effective a prayer of a righteous person is. (James 5:16)

God knows our hearts desire and what I do believe is that the prayer of the righteous one avails much. It depends whom are you praying for? If you were calling on the True and Almighty God of all, not a fake god.

Sheetal hi! I think in my own opinion, it depends on how pure your heart and deserving you are for your prayer request. Sometimes our prayers maybe too personal enough without considering the needs of others. Prayers that works best for others works best for God. Well, i believe in the bible that says "There will always be a time for everything ". A time to reap and a time to harvest, a time to cry and a time to laugh...... All we have to do is to wait and have patience.

I don't know ..... I'm not GOD .....lol I just make opinion right now. I think both of you being selfish. God only works for the good of everyone, not just individual. The best guess that I can make that GOD gonna ask both of you to make peace with each other. I hope you not angry with opinion

I don't think god will care about things like that (if he exists at all). You can't please everyone. That is a lesson we human beings should learn too. There is no way to please everyone since what is dry to one person is wet to an other. We measure in way too many ways to share one opinion. So what would god do? He would ignore you and trigger you to use your brains and find a solution to your "problem" or wish yourself.
