Bro. Eliseo Soriano used to be known only in the Philippines through the Philippines' longest running television program "Ang Dating Daan" (The Old Path). When the iglesia ni kristo ni manalo (church of christ of manalo) concocted bogus frustrated murder and rape cases against him through its influence in the arroyo cabinet, he was forced to go abroad so that no one from his followers in the religious organization he established in the country (known as Members, Church of God International)won't get hurt. Today, that predicament opened him doors to be able to evangelize and expose Biblical truths to the world-- in South America, Africa, Asia and practically all over the globe. Through the help and mercy of God, he is being heard through his blog (http://esoriano.wordpress.com/) and satellite-enabled Worldwide Bible Expositions. He is best known as the "most sensible preacher of all time" because of his mastery of the Bible that enables him to answer candidly and sensibly questions posed to him during such Bible expositions by citing relevant Biblical passages.

Yeah i have heard about him and i think that he does have some known minsunderstanding with the INC Group. I would say that i do not know if his knowledge of the bible is as extensive as what we have seen in the shows we see on the television. But i have also read or seen some previous members of his that they would not allow them to ask if the question was not part of the "program" for the day, hence he has to have them prepared too.
I watched a couple of his ministry and well he speaks very directly and i thought a true man of god would be honest, but won't fight with detractors on live television and would even curse! hmmm

Ows? You mean the questions are scripted? Could you cite the program where previous members of his mentioned that they were not allowed to ask questions because the questions were not "part of the program" for the day?
Could you be specific enough to cite the date of airing when he "cursed" his detractors?

Believe me, I hear him almost everyday.
I am not a follower of his group but my grandfather has taken a liking to listening to him. Since my grandfather has a hearing problem, the television sound is high. From that fact, I can hear his voice booming in the room.
I have nothing against him but sometimes my beliefs and my opinion clash against his. True, I was raised Catholic but I'm not exactly a practicing one. In a sense, I'm hardly his kind of audience.
In my opinion, he has some sound and sensible preachings at times. However, I also feel at that times, he misses some point, especially when citing other religions and their practices.
But hey, he's entitled to his opinion and I'm entitled to mine. Religious freedom and freedom of speech is still in very much effect in this coutnry.
