Hi Lovestoned, there are many kinds of Chinese food too.
Guangzhou and Sichuan food are known as the best of all Chinese food.
It is hard to describe the delicious food, since there are a few thousand varietites in both Guangzhou and Sichuan food.
Maybe you can save up money to visit these two provinces.

I love Chinese food! I usually visit Chinese restaurant twice in a month. I love their food, especially the Peking Duck with pancake. I also love how their fried rice tastes. I also love their noodles and sizzling seafood. But it still depends on the restaurant. I have tried several Chinese restaurants and mostly were not authentic. But I discovered a great restaurant that is really authentic, i love it!

My parents came from China, so I grew up with Southern Chinese food...by the way, depending on what type of Chinese cuisine it is, there will be different dishes and variety of flavors. Homecooked food tend to taste quite different than restaurant qualities depending on the ingredients, but yeah...that's my two cents for this :)

I haven't tried many different chinese dishes, but I have been to chinese restaurants a few times. I like the way they cook the rice, it tastes different. My favourite ones are chicken with bamboo and mushrooms and chicken with sweat and sour cream. I had a chinese flatmate and she was cooking a lot of toffee but I never tried.
I like chinese kitchen, but I think I prefer japanese food like sushi etc.
