Black Friday sales..are you rising early or not?

I don't think I have ever gotten up at 2:00am to be at a store
at 3:00am..and to be honest I don't think I will br getting up
that early this year either...First of all it's really early in
\the morning to be dealing with crowds..and the way the crowds
have been so out of control even to the point where people have
been knocked down, dragged and even killed....I WILL NOT EVEN
THINK ABOUT SUBJECTING MYSELF TO THAT ABUSE...for all of you
that have intentions of brazing that crowd....good luck and be safe....

Actually, on black Friday I will be at my brother's house. After a leisurely breakfast we will probably hit the antique stores and thrift shops. No crowds there and we have a wonderful time visiting with each other while we browse. There is nothing so special or precious on black Friday to cause me to have to deal with that kind of ruckus.

hi Gerty, by the time you are having your leisure breakfast
at your brothers home..the majority of that rush rush door
openers will have happened...enjoy your browseing the stotes
and shops...I love thrift stores...enjoy your visit with
your brother...

I really don't have any interest in getting up in the middle of the night to shop. I am one female who dearly hates to shop. I am one of those when my jeans wear out, I'll go into the store and get another pair of jeans. It's never been anything I like to do like most females. However with the upcoming holidays and parties, I need to find my way to a store and get a couple of real nice outfits. I've seen on tv various crowds that get out of control and it might not be safe when the stores actually open on black Friday.

Oh dear! Oh dear! This is the reason why we are not allowed to take an off from our call center job during this day. We expect a lot of calls from US customers ^_^

I don't know about this year, but last year I sent to the mall near my place at about 5 AM (really dislike the early hours and that I had about 3 hours of sleep...) and didn't really get anything. I mean, Christmas sales are just as good as Black Fridays in a way...but I guess it just depends on the merchandise, too :(

well you were a brave one...But once you joined the crowd
and didn't even get anything.wow..there would be no way in the
world that I would get up that early ,,,get out there in that
crowd and come home with nothing...even if i had to purchase
something I had to return another time...I would have come
home with a bag.....LOL
