I've noticed that some of my friends online have discussed about audio books.
Is it good? Where can I download it for free? If it's never free how much does it cost?
Do you have your own audio book? Do you like audio books better than simply reading a book?
People claim to have audio books instead because they are busy working and don't have time to read and sit anymore.
Please, tell me all you know about audio books. Thank you! ^_^

I love audio books. They are great if you have a long drive. You can just pop one into the CD player and listen away.
I usually go to our local library to pick one out. Its the same story you would read except there is someone reading it to you. The ones I've listened to only have 1 person reading so that person does all the voices. If you get a good person they'll try to disguise their voice for a female or male role.
In some instances I like them better than the book because you can hear the emotions in their voice. But then on the other hand I've heard a few that weren't that good of readers.
But all in all I enjoy them. Im not sure where you an download them off the internet for free. I do know that you can purchase them on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles book stores. Hope this helps!

WOw, this is the first time i heard they are in CD form. WEll, i know so little about them, i thought you could only download them to your computer. Anyway, it makes more sense now.
Our libraries here don't usually have audio books. And if there were, there would only be few and they are audio books on children fairy tale books.
I saw it on an amazon add, which is why i got curious and started a discussion about it. Only i don't have cash to buy any audio book online.

I like audio books. It is not boring compare to reading books on your own. I enjoy it and it's easier to understand the topic. You should try it. For me, it is good to have audio books.

I LOVE audio books. While some still come on cassette tape most have switched over to a small CD player. I love reading but when my hands are busy knitting or cross stitching I can settle in and listen to a wonderful story.
if you check on Ebay they still sell cassette players and cd players. And Ebay, and Amazon and other places I probably would not know sell them. I go to a local bookstore we have and always get mine on clearance.
If you love books, you will surely enjoy audio books.

I haven't seen an audio book either. all i know is that it's a CD or something that you can listen to someone who narrates the story for you.
