Hi Kripa_db Caster sugar and icing sugar is different... Caster sugar has a finer granules than than ordinary granulated white sugar while Icing sugar is a powder form of white sugar with added starch to prevent it from absorbing moisture. To make a caster sugar Just put the amount of sugar need in the recipe to a food processor and blitz it for a few second and you have a caster sugar. If you need a Icing sugar just do it the same with caster sugar put 1 cup of sugar with 1teaspoon cornstarch to a food processor and blitz it until it becomes powder. Have a great day =)

Hello krip. Here in the United states a very simple recipe for frosting we use powdered or confectioner’s sugar. Confectioner’s sugar is regular sugar ground at least ten times and is very fine. Most recipes that call for normal sugar or cooked. They call for milk, flour and vegetable shorting. You can see some here. http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,176,154184-254195,00.html
