In the present world the power crisis is on the rise. Every Country spends money for power and set up atomic power Reactors. It may be dangerous if it is destroyed by Natural Calamities or by any other means. The world Scientists are taking more care and so they built the reactors with more care and protection to the plant. People are to accept this reality and made the reactors to function to solve the Power crisis.

Nuclear power or Atomic power is very much needed for a country like India to develop.I think, you are referring to the Koodankulam protests, which in my opinion is silly.
Already, my state, T.N. is strgulling for power, and if this power station is not commisioned, we will be facing a huge power defeciet, and next year, there may be power cuts for more than 5 hours a day.

Of course you are right.Any right thinking people will not object the nuclear power plant. If some day disaster may or may not happen but today we need power. All religious people need power. If some people think that it is hazard then they should first do away with use of electricity. Of course alternate source is to be thought off, but that is not economic and the people have to bear the huge expenses.
Also everyday we here some accident by various transports but still many people travel by air or train or bus or share auto.
We should not spread rumors and devalue the Scientist who spend their night and day for the development of Nation.
Not only Tamilnadu but India as a whole. suffering of power.

As you have rightly mentioned, it is the Christian Missonaries, who are creating all the trouble in that region. It is only the five Christian dominated villages, who are against the nuclear plant. In my opinion, trouble makers like Udaya Kumar, should be arrested under National Security act.

I think as the material used to produce atomic energy is so dangerous to the environment and living organisms, strict measures are required to ensure safety. As there is no surety about it which has been proved time and again in Russia and Japan, it is wise to abandon it and to switch over to other options like solar energy or bio-energy which are quite safe for all.
