I dont know if there are any supplement my kids can take that will help boost their immune systems. I give them childrens vitamins every morning but it doesnt seem to do much good to help them boost their immune systems and keep them from getting sick.
It is one thing after another with my kids. They are constantly sick. In the past 3 months I've had a sinus infection that lead to bronchitis. My daughter had a sinus infection and tonsilitis. My son had tonsilitis and I had a throat infection. We've had a stomach bug. Right now my daughter has ring worm and my son has come down with a bad cough.
Anyone have any advice on something I could to do help boost my childrens immune systems. I was shocked when I got so sick because I rarely get sick. I dont need to worry about boosting my immune system I'm just concerned about my kids.

No one ever learns! Put your babies (yes, BABIES!) outside to play in the mud. Let them eat it, or suck their fingers, and do whatever they like.
That is what every other animal does. Let's not forget that humans are animals too.
Soap, and a morbid fear of germs, have caused all this child sickness, weak immune systems, and dumb kids that have lost so much schooling through being sick.
Let's get back to nature and live healthily!

I am not an over obsessive cleaner. I dont think getting rid of every single germ everywhere is a good thing. Kids do need to be exposed to things to help build up their immune systems. I do clean but I dont go over board. I use soap but we dont use antibacterial soap. My kids have always been outdoorsy. In the summer we are hardly ever inside. They have play clothes they can wear so they can get dirty playing in the mud or whatever they want to do. Right now the weather is getting cold and we cant be out as much playing. It didnt seem to matter in the summer my kids were constantly getting sick even then :(

People definitly do go overboard on trying to clean their homes so much that they arent exposing their kids to enough helpful germs as I would call it. People use hand sanitizer all the time and to me that is really bad as well. I rarely use hand sanitizer I wash my hands with soap and water when I need to. I keep the house clean but I dont go overboard.

There are things that cant beexplained by the environment...Maybe the cause of the sickness of your children is hereditary or some sort of genes issues... another one is recall on how you brought up your children when they are in your womb, Maybe you have forgotten to take supplements to make your babies healthy?? Let them be checked by a doctor and asked help from them.. they are the one who are much knowledgeable about your issue

Whenever my kid gets colds, i panicked. And I've learned that their immune system is much weaker than older people. Pediatricians recommends vitamins such as vits C, Zince/Mineral rich, mutivitamins. Other than than babies must complete all the required immunization to boost their IS. And regular check up is very helpful too. Mothers must be a keen observer. My daughter has this allergic rhinitis which really attacks every now and then mostly due to the environment. What I do is I mixed apply natural medicine and doctor's medications.

I think a lot of it is her immune system just sucks lol but some of it could be from the food she eats like maybe she isnt getting enough vegetables which I know she doesnt. I started buying iced green tea with mango ginsing and honey. It is made by turkey hill. Its about $2 for a quart of it. I usually get it on sale for around $1.50 and then I grab 4 or so of them. Since I've been giving it to my daughter to drink she hasent even had a single cold since October. If you know my daughter how often she gets sick you would be amazed at that lol.

i read your post about this issue and some of your reply. the problem which concerned your health and your kidsare problems we all face today, with the kind of food we eat and the environment they say are full of chemical trails there is no doubt that skin problem, throat and respiratory problem will eventually show up among our kids and even affects adults. just continue giving them vitamins like Zinc and more of vitamin c to help boost their immune system and try to integrate fresh carrots juice which i find for myself relieves me from constant nasal allergy and help me boost my immune system..i guess your kids are not fond of eating fresh vegetables, common thing about this is their having a kind of health risk due to this lack of fiber which help in pushing out unhealthy traces of toxins within their digestive tract left in meat eating which is responsible for numerous kind of illnesses. you can read a lot of research about this issue and i admire you for so being thoughtful about your kids health.

Lately i also got sick, i had asthma attack and bronchitis as well. My youngest son,1 year old also got cough and asthma, good thing it only last for one day because i have his nebules ready. But not my second one, 4 year old who at first got tonsilitis then right now have an ear infection. His ear drums are swelling so bad and have to bring him to ENT to have his ear checked.
I am also thinking of ways to boost their immune system, good thing my daughter who is 7 is quite strong. I do give them vitamins that i know will help but as i was asking for my mom's advice she told me that, there is nothing i can do about it since kids often do get sick. It is part of them growing up...and they are even complete in vaccines!! I gave them fruits and veggies now less of the junk.

Personally I just suggest a balanced diet. Do not keep them away from germs as this is only putting off the inevitable and they won't be immune to the germs in the future. Vitamins are good, but they will only go so far. Just make sure they eat the right foods and get lots of exercise.
