Holiday baking traditions or no?

When I began my annual holiday shopping list, I started listing all the things that my family members expect to have for each of our "get-togethers" along with each of the little ones' recipes to help make. All of this made me wonder if any of you other bakers do this each year or do you just bake whatever you feel the urge to do?

Its good to have and make the traditional baked goods your family enjoys every Christmas, but its also nice to make something new that excites you. I make traditional desserts during Christmas and it is a hit but a new dessert wouldn't hurt. I hope you can finalize your Christmas baking list =).
happy baking =)!

Happy baking to you as well. Are there any special traditional desserts you especially enjoy making?

ohh sorry for the late comment...
yes I do have some traditional dessert I like to make but they are filipino desserts like puto(rice cake), leche flan, yema (milk balls), and pianono (jellyrolls in America).
I also make cakes and pastry =).
