My Dog died today.

My heart sunk when I read your post. Why does he think it is poisoning? And if it is, you would be right in reporting it. I am so so sorry. He's in a better place, but I know that doesn't make you feel better. I lost my Sherlock this year and I miss him every day.

tash01 I too am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have been through several pet losses and most of the time they are sudden and a shock. Our pets are so much a part of our families that we really feel their loss deeply. I believe we will meet out departed pets spirits when we die...and that always comforts me just a bit..

Yes, it is a hard thing when you loose a pet. They do become a Big part of your family. We lost our first Pomeranian a little over a yr. ago we think from Parvo, and it was a big loss until we found another dog we could grow to love. I hope you can get yourself another one like him, or just continue to cherish the great memories you had together as well.

Oh Tash, I am so sorry, your dog was a beautiful dog. You really think someone poisoned him? That is disgusting, it makes me mad that people are so cruel. Did you have a neighbor or someone who didn't like your dog? From looking at the picture, he looks very friendly and loving and once again, I am sorry this happened.

Sorry for that, I just hope it not poisoning because that is very cruel and in human. Hope you get another one soon.

i had a dog once too, i had her til she was almost 14. with age of course comes weakness and health problems. i was so afraid of her living me but in the end i also prayed for her to pass on to save her from pain. i was crying over her while she took her breath. i still remember her. i still miss her... in Filipino, we have a saying "nakikiramay ako". something we say whenever someone has lost someone important in their lives, meaning that we share your pain to the best our experiences of grief let us to show concern and caring. so i'll say nakikiramay ako. :)

I'm so sorry over the loss of your beloved pet. Hopefully, it was natural causes. I don't know why someone would do something to a dog. Especially, one that seems as sweet as yours.

feel so sorry for this, i'm fond of having dog, they're really friendly and loyal too. i have numbers of pet dogs back when i was young kid. i do like them because i grew up in a farm and having a good dog means a lot to you..i felt so sad like you whenever i see them being sick or dying. i just can't stand the sight. i do still have a native dog and she's friendly and a good dog too.. i know how you will miss your dog..

Aww! I am so sorry to hear of your loss! I know the sad feeling I had my cat for 15 years and she passed last March and I still think of here everyday! Just know that there is a Heaven for all of us and yes animals too! I know the pain you must be feeling and I wish there was something I could do for you but I all can do is pray for your dog. Take Care and know that he is in Heaven and will always be with you.

I am sorry to hear about your dog. I am know you have heard this before, but he is in puppy heaven now running free and chasing animals. I also hope that he passed quickly without pain. You will be able to see him one day again. He will be there also looking over you. I am again sorry to hear. It is very hard to let go of a family pet.

I am sad with what happened to your dog. May his soul rest in peace. You'll probably miss his presence because you are used already that he follows you and his just around your house. Dog should not be poisoned especially your dog that never annoys anyone, as you have said that he accompany you is a good thing that your dog is responsible and tame. I am really sorry to hear that. I can understand how used to you can get to your pets. They become like a family member. I wonder how someone could be so burtal to poison a poor animal. It is really very sad. :(

i'm really sad for you. i had many dogs in my life when i was elder and the all were really important for me. when you loose a dog you loose a friend, it's like to leave a part of your family. think that he will always be in your heart, dear and go on ..you have your children to think to..

I'm really sorry to hear that,i also miss my dog,so i can definitely understand how you feel about that.But do not worry,he will find also a good owner for his next generation.I know that it is kind of really sad without his accompany,but my friend,just be rough,i think you would feel better some time later.God bless.

oh I am really sorry to hear that. he sounded really nice and friendly. no wonder you really love him and you will miss his company. hearing that he was poisoned is really saddening too. but are you sure he was poisoned? maybe he was ate something bad without you knowing it.
