You're absolutely right: the first rule of earning online is NEVER pay for anything (unless you're 100% sure of what you'll get). There are plenty of ways to earn but figuring out which one suits you is often rather difficult. Do you want easy stuff for pennies, real work for real money, part-time stuff, long-term or short-term earnings... so many questions.
