Ever been scammed?

I'm new to the online money business thing, which is why I want to be informed well about scams that i should avoid.
This discussion will not only help me be aware of scammers out there, but also other people who are able to read this.
Have you ever been scammed? How did you resolve the problem? What have you learned from this experiences? Do you have any advice as to how to prevent being scammed and what to do if you were in that situation?

I've never been scammed. This is because I've always been really careful. I always make it a point not to invest any money in any online site that promises rewards. I only choose those that require no registration fee at all but pays members for their activities. I also avoid sites that promise things that are too good to be true. Those are just what I avoid and have been helpful for me.
